Im just stating my opinion and I have been doing that for a long time. I give credit where credit is due, and I call people out on their bullshit. If that makes me a hater, I really couldnt care less. Can you seriously not see that how you post can rub some people the wrong way?
In the last posts people have been bringing up some good points, and you dismiss them as idiots instead of replying in a sivil manner. Maby you should take a look at yourself instead of writing everyone else off as stupid idiots.
When you decide to leave the thread for a 3th time, could you respond to the perfectly reasonable post that SiguR made?

Leah should be on more, she actually had good stuff to say. And I wish even with all the incontrol hate he'll be back to sotg he brings good opinions to the show with well thought out arguments.
Also I wonder how rape is such a bad word when on the screen "people" are dying? The moral of USA is always like this. It's ok to kill people, but the slight sight of nudity is not allowed at all.

Awesome way to send Geoff off and mad props to Leah for holding her own with these guys.
I'll miss your personality on here, Geoff. You're the best. <3 <3

Alright this is bugging me greatly, what was the 'that's what she said joke'? I happened to miss what Leah said and I must know :<

Geoff u are the man, gl in everything u propose to do ^^

Inc, I'd also like to throw in the other guys in this thread are obviously idiots, it's just no one gives a shit about 'em, and everyone expects you to rise above it, and when you don't everyone drags you down.

FXO FIGHTING.
If they crash and burn and your average Kim Korean lose all respect for non koreans, WHY DO YOU CARE? It's not like they're a good representation of non-korean skill right?
It's not like they took the non korean team spot from another all star team right? Oh they did?
Didn't think so. So cheer on FXO like a proper fan or piss off.

This is sounding like a bunch of whinny babies to be honest. What is it "beat up Incontrol day" or something? Who cares if you disagree with him or were offended by him. Man up. The dude works his ass of and made SotG a great show, he deserves respect. So does JP, why would anyone flame him? People call him an idiot when he does things for the community none of yall do.
Man up.

Don't read the actual posts or anything, that's cool. We were all flaming him, we should definitely man up and never disagree with him or call him out on his bullshit. Yep...
The dude works his ass off for Starcraft and I do respect that, but I don't expect people to nod their heads or look away when he spouts silliness.

I've got some constructive criticism I would like to make:
JP's small talk is getting so annoying. Half the stuff that he talks about is useless small talk like 'What are you drinking', 'You look funny on the webcam' etc.... I feel he is trying too hard to keep the conversation going and so much time is wasted with small talk.
I would like to see him be more concise, keep the show moving along and stick on topic.

You came out and explicitly said Moonan has no accomplishments whereas you do. How could you possibly think it is unfair for us to bring up your "accomplishments" and compare them to Moonan's?
You stated your opinion on Moonan's lack of accomplishments. We have every right to state our own and try to explain to you why we feel your statement was wrong.
I was civil. I took the time to explain fully why it seems ridiculous to say he has no accomplishments. You are not fending off a hurricane of idiots. I am not attacking you to be fended off, I am attacking your statement. You've given me one nonsensical response calling me a moonan fanboy to which I replied. You have not replied to me since.
It blows my mind that you can think (and I quote) "all with 5-10 posts in this thread with the sole purpose of down playing every one of my accomplishments" is a fair statement.
I don't give a fuck about you or your accomplishments or making sure that I down play them. I can't speak for everyone, but I sure as hell wouldn't be posting in this thread if you didn't say shit like "moonan has no accomplishments". If blatant falsehoods aren't argued against, communication becomes meaningless.
Some people might be out to get you, but I'm not. I completely agree with you on plenty of things, especially the recent language debate with destiny. It's unfortunate that you only see what i write as the blithering of "an idiot" who only wants to "downplay your accomplishments". All i'm asking is that you concede that saying Moonan has no accomplishments whereas you do is a pretty fucking stupid thing to say.

I would like to see him be more concise, keep the show moving along and stick on topic. He's trying to keep people loose and make it easier for conversations to start up and be a bit free flowing. I dont know if the show was ever supposed to be extremely strict and structured. I feel like sometimes he doesnt do enough to steer a conversation but never did I think he took too much time talking himself.

Exactly and 5 koreans or going to take on a good representation of non-korean skill at MLG I'm not sure why people think Kim Korean is not going to base his respect on the results of that tournament instead of FXO. Do they think he won't find out the results?
FXO will not determine non-korean respect in Korea by them selves Korea vs. the World will happen at MLG and dreamhack.

Uhh... I was under the impression that I could come to this website and state my opinion regardless if I disagree with a figure head in the sc2 community. That is what many of us are doing here... we are simply discussing a subject. Too many people are blowing it out of proportion and trying to make it something worse than it really is.
The dude works his ass of and made SotG a great show, he deserves respect. So does JP, why would anyone flame him?
Someone doesn't deserve respect for working hard. Michael Vick worked hard to be a good QB, but I don't respect him.
That being said I still do respect the work they put into the community. You are trying to put two conflicting things into one. Don't do that, it won't work or help validate your point.
People call him an idiot when he does things for the community none of yall do.
Man up.
I don't see what him doing stuff for the community has to do with anything. People shouldn't be flaming anyone here to be honest, so bringing up that he does more...
Forget that... what you should focus on is that many people here aren't just trash talking him, they are merely stating their opinion which happens to disagree with his. Typically, that is perfectly fine. I'm not sure what the exception is here.
Side Note: I did personally mention his behavior to someone else when another person asked why he gets so much negative attention (I didn't say something like "he's such a piece of shit for trash talking" I just explained why he gets a lot of crap for what he says when other pros don't) but also it isn't the focus of the conversation happening here.

is there an audio version only up yet? cant seem to find it...

On the subject of Nascar, this thread has once again certainly turned into a pile up of epic proportions.

FXO has literally 0 team accomplishments except losing to EG in ESEA and taking I think 4th.
Where the HELL do people get it in their mind that they are a better team? It absolutely cannot be through results. Arbitrary considerations with players? Qxc hasn't been his former self since MLG of last year when he still placed lower than several EG players. Moonan? No accomplishments. Slog? Filthy? Tgun or w/e... all lower level than Machine, Strifecro and Lz. Sheth is great. But still has fewer / less accomplishments than I do in big tourneys (MLG). Then we compare super-stars.. IdrA vs Moonglade. Need I say more? And all this without mentioning Axslav who won MVP for crota invitational going undefeated against players like Jinro and the other top players from top teams.
Emphasis on the bolded part... I don't care for the argument that's taking place here on which team is better, but blatant falsehoods tickle my fancy. Moonan has no accomplishments but you do? At MLG Dallas, you were seeded into pool play. You took fourth place by: In group play: beating TLO, Mihai, and slush Losing to painuser In the championship bracket: You beat TLO in an extended series You lost to Select 0-2 You lost to Kiwikaki 0-2 You won two best of threes and one best of five. You lost three best of threes. That got you fourth place. At MLG Dallas, Moonan took 8th. He started in the open bracket. Got knocked into the losers bracket by huk and did not make group play, but proceeded to the championship bracket by beating Naama. In the championship bracket he beat spades, painuser, mihai, machine, slush, and eventually lost to socke. Moonan won 11 best of threes, and lost two best of threes. That got him 8th place. If you'll notice, three of the players he beat were the ones that were in your pool (essentially the same players you beat to secure your fourth place spot, minus TLO).In summary: Incontrol : Wins: 2 bo3's, 1 bo5. Losses: 3 bo3's 4th place Moonan: Wins: 11 bo3's Losses: 2 bo3's 8th place The catch is that Moonan played almost literally the same players that you did, plus naama, spades, machine, and a number of lesser known players. Saying Moonan has zero accomplishments and you have more accomplishments than him or sheth seems kind of moronic. You benefited from a very skewed seeding system. That is all fine and good in itself. I'm happy for your success. But don't go waving your dick around saying you have more accomplishments than other people who arguably performed just as well if not better than you. I want to be clear that i'm not saying you didn't do well. I'm saying that arguably Moonan did better and you're sitting on your 4th place "accomplishment" and saying Moonan has zero accomplishments. It seems silly. well said I got seeded into the top 16 because I spent 3 MLG's beating people of / higher level than what you listed for Moonan. Saying he did well in open play and then placed lower in the same bracket I placed higher in as some kind of "he did better" is stupid. I have NO IDEA why so many people hate on slush / TLO it really is a shame.. they are fucking good. Mihai came from the same open stage btw as Moonan and he too lost 0-2 to me. It sucks cause I have to defend my 4th place finish which comes off as "wow he thinks it was so amazing" but I am only doing that in response to the idiots that go "his 4th place finish was vs scrubs lololol" Sigur I understand you are a moonan fan boy and all but I'm sorry...
The majority of people consider 4th a good finish, but you were pretty disrepectful to FXO and Moonan so you have to expect people to defend them.
