He doesn't have a problem saying that it's because of time constraints, which is why he said exactly that. Changing his twitter account to his in-game name might have something to do, with, I don't know, it being his in-game name? Even if EG did force him to change his Twitter name, that still doesn't lead to them banning him from SotG.
I think you're really grasping at straws, here. If EG had issues with SotG, he wouldn't be allowed on at all. I don't know why or how people think this has something to do with EG, it makes no sense and absolutely none of the evidence we have points to EG being some sort of villain here.

Good point. Case closed.
Conspiracies aside, I'm really looking forward to this episode. I liked Incontrol on the show a lot, but if he's moving on that's okay too. As long as the "last show" (for a while, or whatever) gives one of the pillars a good send-off then I'm happy. I think a JP/Day9/Tyler show is awesome enough by itself, theoretically.

Look, if EG wasn't making him leave the show, they'd come out and say it, nothing to lose by doing that. Their silence speaks volumes.

incontrol changing his twitter ID has nothing to do with EG, and more to what 88 can stand for.(No he did not mean it like that, 88 was just some clan he made up when he was 12 or something).

EG isn't obligated to address every bullshit rumor bored trolls come up with. Even if Scoots came out and said it isn't true, the people who think EG is responsible are just going to call him a liar. It's painfully obvious to everyone on the correct side of the issue that at this point, if you think EG made Geoff leave, you have some sort of personal issue with EG or its management, and are just looking for excuses to be mad.
It's just like the birther stuff with Obama, he can release all the birth certificates he want, and they'll just call him a liar, because that's what they've chosen to believe.

JP i love you and the show. I'm most definitely will be tuning into the show in it's entirety but whats whit the Celine Dion. Love songs for INcontrol? Trolling?

Incontrol is smart. If it didnt have anything to do with EG at all, then he would just say, " this was a personal choice and had nothing to do with EG at all". I dont think it could be any clearer...He doesnt want to do sotg because he has limited time, and he is gonna use that time on projects that promotes EG and brings in $$$.
If you think this decision has nothing to do with the similiar "EG show" running earlier on the same day, you are a damn fool.

I'd think that if EG had any issue with his being on State of the Game, then they might have an issue with IdrA showing up on this episode as well, which he reportedly will make an appearance.
Speculation aside, I'm also one of many sad to see Geoff leaving, as I enjoyed his well thought out responses that addressed more than his viewpoint. I've skimmed through quite a few pages and don't see anything on a replacement, if there will be one...Does anyone know anything about this?

This is kind of how I've looked at it since the announcement last week.

They arent bad people over there.
Its sad to see him go but hes going to be really busy and its probably for the best^^

I will be drinking along with the hosts today, let's make a memory.

He said that it was a choice between SotG and projects related to EG (i.e. ITG), yes. That's a fact, I'm not arguing it, I said in a previous post that that's clearly what he said.
The distinction is that if Geoff chooses to continue with the show that he feels better furthers his team, that's not really something you can "blame" EG for, unless you think that EG shouldn't be involved with ITG and the other OneMoreGame shows. People are either implying or outright stating that EG has barred or discouraged Geoff from participating in SotG, which I don't think is the case.
I firmly believe that if Geoff told Scoots "you know what, I don't have time for both of these shows, and I prefer SotG for x reasons so I'm going to stop doing ITG," Scoots wouldn't stop him. EG already has a IdrA on ITG so they'll always get their plugs, and their sponsors get the ads at the beginning even when nobody from EG is on (the SteelSeries and Kingston ads run on all OneMoreGame shows).

Geoff...Nobody will ever be able to bring the fans of SC2 as much joy as you do. Ever. Your return will be looked forward to every single episode of SOTG!
