I firmly believe that if Geoff told Scoots "you know what, I don't have time for both of these shows, and I prefer SotG for x reasons so I'm going to stop doing ITG," Scoots wouldn't stop him. EG already has a IdrA on ITG so they'll always get their plugs, and their sponsors get the ads at the beginning even when nobody from EG is on (the SteelSeries and Kingston ads run on all OneMoreGame shows).
I dont blame him for his "choice", and its understandable. But you are a damn fool if you think it wouldnt have been some consequences if he had quit ITG and kept going on sotg

Thanks for all of the time you spent on SotG iNcontrol! You don't owe us shit, don't let anyone make you feel bad for this decision. SotG was a side project for you, done for free and it's given me countless hours of entertainment since the beta.

What makes you think that EG runs their organization that way? They let him do NASL, which directly competes for a time slot with the EG Master's Cup, has no affiliation with EG or their sponsors whatsoever, and eats up tons of time that could be spent practicing and/or promoting the team.
Would EG prefer that Geoff do ITG instead of SotG? Probably, though the size and loyalty of the audience of SotG compared to ITG makes me reluctant to believe even that, since again, EG and its sponsors do get plugs in on SotG only when Geoff (or another EG member) is on, whereas they always get it on ITG. Does that mean Geoff would be "punished" for quitting ITG instead of SotG? No, probably not, you don't become one of the premier teams in foreigner e-sports by treating your players like that.

So now you are saying its better for EG that geoff would stay on Sotg and drop ITG? And you think he prefer the newbie show ITG and thats why his leaving? You dont really make any sence.

Sigh....I have no problem with Inc and still love him for what he's done for esports, but EG royally sucks. listened every week but last Tues, and come back to hear this. for fucking shame. I hope I'm wrong, and it really was just geoff's choice for himself. but that seems impossible.

Is EG still with SOTG? or are they on only for the preshow? Sorry I missed the first part...

i believe she works for g4

I'm saying it's not necessarily clear which show is "better" for EG since both have their strong points, so I doubt that EG would've had a huge issue with him staying with SotG.

Watch today's ITG. I do beleive that when Geoff appeared and Painuser asked him "whats going on with SOTG" geoff responded he had obligations to his team and that in order to prioritize his time he needs to give up sotg.
Bottom line: he had to give something up because he didn't have enough time. he couldn't give up ITG because ITG is a sir scoots production so he gave up sotg. fyi, sir scoots is the main executive in EG.
