Cheers. I played zerg all through the beta, and am just switching to toss (652 rating, top 10 diamond OFF racing, dropped from 740 as zerg...) and I know how it feels to constantly play vs terrans.
It's NOT about RACE imbalance. It's about OPTIONS. Terran have SO many options, the zerg needs to have a LOT of DIFFERENT defensive units. Now what's that mean? That the zerg will be weaker OVERALL. THAT's the issue with imbalance, not unit damage. (@ "hurrr, just burrow 6 baneling" guy...)
I have HUGE respect for IdrA, his BM is just his competitiveness coming out and I think it's great. I don't think it's meant in a badmanner kind of way, only that he's passionate and cares about Sc so he gets frustrated/mad.

as big of a dick IdrA is his theorycraft and game knowledge is bar none and I always like to hear his thoughts on the game.

i love the interview, really, Idra was bm, but not too bm, i love it this way, he aknowledges a couple of players at least which by coincidence are those who i respect and cheer for (White-ra, Dimaga, too bad he didnt give more credit to TLO though)

I wonder if IdrA is reading this thread and just laughing because a few of his random comments sent people into a balance discussion in a thread about predicting a tournament. It is funny how the mere mention of IdrA or Artosis instantly spawns a balance discussion full of unsubstantiated claims.

I really respect IdrA's dedication and tenacity, but Artosis and his constant balance complaints are very unattractive.

He is def underrating Hasuobs. He is pretty good at live events and also has a huge home advantage. He lives even near cologne and i m almost sure that he will play well.
Also Hasuobs beat TLO in the first EPS qualifier in a bo3 and proved his current form, i think IF he trains hard he can def go deep in this.
I dont think Dimaga will do too well, i dont see him doing solid builds at all. I saw him lossing on kulas ravine vs the 2 first zealots of socke because he played 16hatch 15pool..
But he is pretty awesome so he def could surprise.

i've seen zerg crush terrans in numerous ways, things from mass ultralisks to baneling/muta to mass roach/broodlord and even some strategies involving hydralisks.
I am indeed wondering how it would be if idra and artosis were playing Terran... If there is such a big imbalance, then why is there still no patch fixing it?

I'm getting kind of tired of hearing the endless arrogance that comes out of Artosis+Idra in these videos. They make assumptions that their ideas about the game are 100% correct, and that the balance is hopelessly skewed, while still trying to make themselves sound like the best players ever.
No, i can't beat Idra in a 1v1, but that doesn't mean that his complaints about balance haven't pretty much turned into full blown whining at this point. I mean for god sakes you ARE the best player on the ladder at this point, please act like it! Maybe you thought it was okay to rage so much when you were 15 but at this point it just makes you look like an idiot.
