No, i can't beat Idra in a 1v1, but that doesn't mean that his complaints about balance haven't pretty much turned into full blown whining at this point. I mean for god sakes you ARE the best player on the ladder at this point, please act like it! If you have to change a quote you should use [brackets] to make it clear which part you changed ... at least you pointed out that there were changes and made them clear through formatting unlike the stuff Megalisk made up and posted it as a quote from me. If he adapts the super fast 10 pool, 10 baneling nest opening from the Day[9] daily #165 he could seriously punish Terrans very very fast. But as you said that kind of aggresion wouldnt be his typical style and crazy strategies and new inventions arent his style either. | ||

OPINION. Unless you provide facts to back up your opinion it is just a random claim and stating that as a given fact is arrogant. "We are right and you are wrong and if you beat us your race is OP and if we beat you it is skill." That does not "prove" anything in either direction ... Not enough time has passed to make accurate claims about balance. Total 50/50 balance doesnt exist anyways, because it all depends upon making the right decisions at the right time and even a Thor can be killed by Mutalisks if one is handled badly and the other one is handled well. Zerg is the hardest race to master and maybe in time the players will learn to harrass and win with that ugliest race of the three. | ||

OPINION. Let me think about it... Very good that they express ther opinion problem is that ghermination points out that the way they express their opinion made them look like arrogant idiots. I'm very happy for both Idra and Artosis that they temporarly don't have 87574 koreans on top of their head that they won't, in a billion year, be able to beat, but that's not really a reason. | ||

They shouldn't express THEIR OWN OPINIONS in videos! absolutely true, but I think what some here annoys is, that these subtle complains come frome people who have recently switched their race FROM terran at a time when terran was considered being quite weak in comparison to their current strength; if they complained about protoss being OP or ZvZ broken etc. I think nobody would have any problems but switching away from a race because it's weak and afterwards complaining that THIS race is now broken in matchups against YOUR race....well.....then you don't have to wonder if people lose some respect but this aside I always appreciate when people don't get lost in overly political correctness like it is at nowadays sporting events "you are FC barcelona, will you try winning the champions league?" - "well, everybody is very strong, we will try to play as best as possible and see what we can achieve" such - sorry - bullshit; nobody who is asked who he thinks is currently a better or worse player should be judged when he actually gives his opinion on that (wtf?); I mean, reading some comments it's even as some would have expected him to NOT say anything definite like "all players are very good, I respect each of them very, very much, wish them all the very best and hopefully the best of us will win" - seriously, don't we get enough of this bs on everydays sportschannels? and saying that somebody doesn't know how to expand obviously doesn't mean that he has no clue what he is doing....just means that this person sometimes lacks the proper timing to expand exactly in the sometimes very small timeframe that there is which can decide games; it's like if some tennis player says that Nadal has a weaker backhand - of course this doesn't mean that Nadal doesn't know how to play with the backhand, isn't that kinda obvious? | ||
