I was unaware good manners made #1 attainable whereas BM limits you to 2nd. The reason I like Idra is the same reason I dislike Korean interviews of the winners. Boring, bland, preplanned answers don't do anybody any good. However, speaking the truth about issues instead of sugar coating answers and being honest in an interview is always welcome.
It isn't truth, it's bias and a complete embarrassment to e-sports. If we actually want e-sports to take off, we can't have the best American player in the world act like such a child.

On the one hand, as a Protoss player from SC:BW, it's nice to see another race getting shit on for a change, however it's still complete garbage. I feel that Terran is stronger than the other two races, but not to any ridiculous level. I didn't like race-hating in SC:BW and I still don't like it SC2, although a part of me does rejoice to see Terrans tasting their own medicine.

CJ obviously doesn't give a fuck about how Idra presents himself in these artosis videos, its a laid back interview with a friend, of course the BM is going to surface
He's always more mannered in other interviews.

You rock IdrA! Honest interview - and I'm happy you aren't holding back when it comes to Terrans OP-ness. They'll get their nerf - we just need a few months until Blizz has profited on the imbalance.
Thx for the interview, Artosis.

Being honest does not mean being right, Hasu just beat TLO 2:1 in EPS Qualification, so how can he not matter?

Yeh, you're right. The most gullible and stupid pack of gamers (that's a large amount of stupid people deciding to play an intelligent game) decided to pick zerg and can be easily swayed into believing anything you want them to. Get your head out of your ass.
As for talks about his "biased" point of view ruining e-sports and any potential it could ever have. Did you ever consider that what he's saying may have some truth to it, or did your biased view conflict with his and so his became wrong? I'm tired of every thread becoming "zvt is imbalanced" "quit qqing every zerg player lolz". It's not even close to constructive to the subject of the thread, or even the subject of zvt. I think IdrA's attitude is good for the competitive atmosphere ) just makes it sooo much more fun to see them offline

Idra is versatile though, cant play zvt and he struggles zvp ?

Theres 8 terran 4 toss 4 zerg in the tourney, and he gets all excited that ohhhhh there should be 4 terrans to advance.
Are math so hard ?, doesnt prove in any way that terran are imbalanced, if there are 8 players of a race, and half of the players in the tourney get to next round, 4 players of that said race in the finals would simply prove a form of balance.
(If 6-7 of the 8 terran would go through, that would show that theres imbalance)
(A lot of players playing the same race /= imbalance)
tldr : lolartosis
Woah, thanks for breaking that down for all of us. It hasn't been mentioned already and isn't simple arithmetic.

I mean, TvZ is likely imbalanced (but I can't see without number crunching of top games over a good sample size), but for 99% of the players, you aren't losing because of race imbalance, so stop using it as a crutch. It has nothing to do with whether Idra thinks its imba. Its how he treats every non-Korean as some inferior peon who can only beat him by getting lucky or cheese, even when its clearly not true. I seriously think he has some sort of racial inferiority complex, because he literally never BMs koreans if he loses, but will pretty much BM any European or American player if he loses.
Also, of course a Zerg icon. I

Well, you have to understand that he has devoted much MUCH more time to the Starcraft games than most of these top players. It would be frustrating to you to see someone come into your 'field' and use cheap tricks to get ahead. Maybe terran imbalanced isn't affecting a lot of levels of play, but the level it would have most affect on is Idra's. Thus, why he makes complaints about it. Because that imbalance could me a shot at earning some money.

Not specifically calling you out, but this nonsense Terran knee jerk defense is JUST as obnoxious as the Zerg complaints, in most cases more so.
You should know as well as anyone who plays competitive games, Balance discussions are a constant reality.
Let me say that again.
Balance will ALWAYS be discussed, from the beginning to the end of the game, always.
If not Zerg,it will beTerran, if not Terran it will be Protoss, if not all of them at once.
The game is in constant flux. Come next expansion YOU may be the one complaining and you will hear your identical verbatim arguments thrown right back in your face. You will be met with "STFU Noob, L2P" regardless of the quality of your post, regardless of the validity of your argument.
This is how it is, this is how it always will be.
But you already know that. I'm guessing you play Terran so you take it personally. But it isn't personal, it is a direct result of competitive games and a constant battle for balance,
The game will change from its current state numerous times over the next few years. The game is not perfectly balanced, won't be perfectly balanced and may never be perfectly balanced, get over it.

I take Day9's approach. I just play and let the developers figure balance out. If its imbalanced, I figure a way to overcome it, and if it can't be, it will be fixed. The game won't be balanced until the expansions are out, so either deal with it or don't play for money.

As much as we love to hate on Idra, think about it from his point of view. He practices more than any non-Koreans out there. He is the only non-Korean with a progaming license issued by KeSPA. He does have some bragging rights. I am not saying we should worship him. We should hate on him like Red Sox hating on Yankees. Nothing personal.
Idra is like Frank Mir of SC2 to me. You just gotta have a shit talker that can back it up, just to lose in the finals and make the victory sweeter than it could be. Yeah... I really want him to get to the finals and get his face smashed... LOL
Edit: btw whats L2P?

Edit: btw whats L2P? Just because someone "practices more" than anyone else does not entitle them to belittle anyone who outplays them in a match. Idra always has excuses ready for any defeat, unless he loses to a Korean. I have no doubt he'll get smashed out by an OGS player in the HDH, and even if it's Ensnare, you will see no complaining of the "terran imba". Why can't he extend that respect to other players?

well, HasuObs was invited because he is a famous German player but I think that Socke is the better German Protoss atm (and his PvT vs mech is soo cool: phoenix->robo->chargelots and then in the end carrier+HT, that's soo enjoyable to watch) so, yeah, I'm pretty mad that they invited Hasu and not Socke...
