The catch is that anything that beats them is OP. Just as cyclists and some athletes will accuse anyone beating them to be on steroids. Drugs not being known to "enhance" the ability to play video games, the blame then goes from "dosed-up cheater" to "noob using OP".

It's particularly demonstrable (ironically) in ZvZ where the only way to stop such an assault is to basically only have hydras or mutas in your army...

Have you ever heard of something called detection? Just because you can create a scenario in the editor, doesn't mean it is useful in game. If you want to argue about balance, please use examples that actually makes sense.

The problem is getting to that stage, as Terran can take a huge advantage if not win the game outright prior to ultralisk tech hitting.

In a long macro game where you have enough cash available you just a-move some ultras and watch them trash everything. It's particularly demonstrable (ironically) in ZvZ where the only way to stop such an assault is to basically only have hydras or mutas in your army... Without ultras, all the terran would need to do to win is to scout when the broodlords are coming and make vikings. I wouldn't have any problem seeing zerg tier 3 get a nerf if Blizzard fixes the freaking early and mid game.

I mean half of his posts are whining about terran imba, and half are whining about people whining about terran imba. "Trolling in the sc2 forum is like relieving yourself in a river of piss."

When I first began to follow the foreigner scene I thought Idra was just a cocky ass bastard, but I've really come to like him as a player. As far as I can tell he has a genuine respect for the game. I've come to take his alleged "cockyness" as just simple confidence. I like the fact that he doesn't beat around the bush saying that he will make it out of his group. It's true he is good and is the one that is most likely to make it out of his group. Show the man some respect. He does BM a lot, but he is still a progammer and much better than anyone posting in this thread. Yeah, the game... Not the people who play it ;-) As far as the confidence thing goes it's ok to be just confident. What's less ok by any decent standard is to become an arrogant asshole with a superiority complex :-D (Contrary to the "can't expand" comment, THAT could be considered rude or insulting btw) ^^
