I was just going to add that probably 50% of the time I go to hit the pause button I hit surrender instead. I also am not sure why in the blue blazes they need a hotkey for surrender, but I've definitely been caught up in a zerg macro killing spree and hit S in the F10 menu and surrendered as well. | ||

TvP on Dessert Oasis. I went for Void Rays after a 4gate opening and he went fast Thors. By time the 5-6 Thors got to my base with 10-15 SCVs and 20 marines, I sent my Void Rays to his base for a base race. I had an expo and my natural and I hid my stargates and fleet beacon at the left side of map. Long story short, he was guarding his last two barracks with his army that I couldn't touch. I made him cancel his first attempt to build CC, the second attempt was at my natural. He fended me off but accidentally attacked his own CC with thors. Left himself with 180minerals, and I had just got my warp prism to rebuild on island. So I won, due to one attack misclick by him  | ||

I just had a good one last night, went ling/baneling against a bad teching protoss... he got two void rays out and I had no anti-air, but it didn't matter since I was wrecking his base. He's going around pew-pewing my buildings down as I finish tearing down his last couple of buildings... and the game doesn't end. I see the "opponent being revealed" message, I look all over the minimap and see NOTHING. wtf. void rays are still going strong. I hunt around, can't find anything... FINALLY I see a dot on the minimap that was half-blended in with the rest of the map coloring... run over and see a lone pylon there, begin to attack it... and I lose to void rays. Five seconds more and I had it. | ||

1st game was a PvZ in the beta, I went forge FE (hey, it worked in Brood War) and decided to skimp on units while teching to void rays (hey, that also worked in Brood War). I didn't realize the smoke on Metalopolis hides vision, so I assumed I killed the guy's scouting drone. It turned out he built a proxy hatch in the smoke and killed my main with roaches from there. I ended up getting lucky and winning after my desperation cannon rush on his nat somehow worked and killed his drones. Then I managed to charge up the range 7 void rays enough to kill the hydra counter and then his main. After that the guy cried imba on void rays. 2nd game was a PvT where I contained the terran in his base and got my fast expo up, and I thought I would win for sure with this advantage. Next thing you know, I hear "Nuclear Launch Detected" and frantically searched around for a red dot, then I lost all my main probes to that. Big deal, I still have him contained and can rebuilds probes really quickly with 2 chrono boosted nexuses, right? I thought the red dot was invisible by a glitch so when he nuked again, I assumed he was hitting my expo so I pulled all my probes to a random spot in my base... turned out he nuked my gateways, and the blast radius just happened to catch this random spot in my base, WTF. At this point I was down by more than 20 supply (despite him ignoring my void ray which killed a bunch of stuff in his main) and barely had any probes left, while the terran pushed out of his main with a bunch of marine/tank/marauders. How did I win from here? Well I had the help of some FML moments from my opponent too. He wiped out my expo easily and walked into my main, when he had a FML moment of his own and dropped a bunch of mules on his hidden gold expo just as my dark shrine finished. He had no detection left for my desperation DT defense. I got lucky with warp prism harass, putting a hold position DT in his semi-island expo while dropping more on his gold expo next door, then un-holding position on my DT after he landed both CCs there and made a bunch of mules and scvs. I got lucky a few more times when I sniped his ghosts with a random DT near his nat and feedback at his gold expo. In the end, I was able to a-move his base after storming 20 clumped marines. | ||
