I was practicing sim city'ing and having my base really tight so no zerglings could f my mineral line, since I was having trouble with that in previous games.

I simmed so tight I couldn't get any probes outside my base. Both humorous and embarrassing at once.

On DO playing PvP, it was hell of a good game so far and I had won all the battles. So I finish his forces just up fby the gold and head to his base with stalks, colus and sentries. I get in there and start doing some damage, notice lots of zeals and go to forcefield them then I accidently right click making them walk there + taking damage and I accidently brought up the the achievement box in my frantic momement which stops me from controling them. By then my forces were pretty much raped

Steppes of War ZvP. Protoss opponent walls himself in completely, and surrounds his entire base with cannons.

I think, what the hell, i'll macro up like crazy. Sitting on 4 bases, i have about 120 food of hydras, while teching up and upgrading like crazy. I periodically sent in a sacrificial overlord so i don't get surprised. He has just about every single tech building, so i'm thinking mothership and carriers, most likely. After about 12-15 minutes game time, i'm feeling pretty confident, got hive up and everything needed to play reactionary against what he's going. I didn't want to max JUST in case some retarded shit comes out, and...

50 2/0/1 zealots start streaming into my base. I was suitably dumbstruck at the time, just watching as my pretty big hydra/ few roach army suddenly evaporates. When this happened, i couldn't stop laughing, and watched all my tech buildings get demolished. I built a few mutas in response, but have you ever seen 12-15 mutas trying to kill 30-40 something zealots? I look at the replay after the game, and find the one spot i didn't have overlord coverage was just under one of the destructible rock expansions, where he just warped in the zealots.

I was facepalming fairly furiously after that game.

the most epic ZvT i've had in ages, we got back and forth for almost 30 minutes, i got his tank-marine force with thors and shiz and is just about to put the nail in the coffin when i move my whole army to his front doo... what the hell? why did my screen go black? 20 sec later. windows is now logging off blahblah and after update the updater that was set to never update automatically or ask me for permission started updating, and without asking me if i wanna go restart now it did so automatically.

sad face.

Losing a 35 minute ZvT where i was on 7 base to 3. I decided to forget that zerg has hive tech units that are awesom so i stuck with Hydra/Roach I lost my army and rebuilt the same thing until all of my 8k minerals were gone. I learned Hydra/Roach are terrible verus tanks lol

The rally point for my collosus was on a unit that died at my opponents base. I'm sitting in my base wondering where my colos are and see them walking headlong into a tank barrage. With my colos dead he just 1a'd my base... fml!

I could have won if i had just kept my colossus from commiting suicide!

I've had a few idiot moments myself.
1. I decide to proxy hatch for fun against a terran on Steppes of War. I go in, throw down the hatch, morph drones and build spines. At about 5 spines i grin and say to myself "I got this". Then i uproot and go in for the CC, but what...no CC. Turns out he lifted and went to the corner expansion. At that moment a bunch of marines enter my main. I laughed so hard

2. Against a terran on Scrap Station. I baneling bust, destroy everything but the CC. He moves to the north island and builds a ton of towers. I happily expand and start massing mutas. I get about 30 and go to the island only to find 30+ vikings. And soon after that he destroys me with BCs. Turns out he also expanded on the other two remote expansions. I felt like a total noob.
3. Again against a terran, again on Scrap Station. I manage to penetrate his wall, destroy all but one SCV. He has one thor and one medivac. He starts flying around, dropping the thor at my main and at my expansion. I get so invested in following the thor with my speedlings and neglect my macro. I had a feeling i am losing the game and indeed, soon he comes in with 5 more thors.

scouted the entire map of kulas for an expo from zerg but none, so i thought he was going tto 1 base me. I setup a contain and just camped outside over confident. I made a bunch of stalkers, triple expanded.

Only to find that I forgot to scout one of the bases at the top left, I even had my probe near it with a pylon, but no i missed that FKSJFLFDJ base and he made 60mutas and I had 60 or so stalkers but the mutas pwned me and it was F'n gg.

forgetting that rallied units dont attackmove and having 4 stalkers get raped trying to run past 3 marauders, the same 3 marauders that proceeded to take down my ONE pylon covering all my warpgates.

I was playing agains't a protoss on kulas I was zerg.
I took my natural and I scouted him getting ready for a push, so I teched to hydras and got around 20-30 hydras when he attacked, he only had gateway units so I won the fight and I went to attack his base, he had walled of with gateways and while I was breaking them down I start seeing my hydras pop one by one. And I was like "omg DTs?!" ofcourse all my hydras died because I didn't have an overseer.
And once I paused the game right before the big fight, which I was pretty confident I was going to take, after I was ready to unpause I opened the menu and clicked surrender -_-.
And ofcourse the 10+ games I disconnected myself from the "Disconnect" window showing up while I was making drones.
btw what does FML mean?

He probe scouts me.I probe scout him i see double gateway and later cybernetics core than me.I go gateway/core/gateway.He starts building a pylon on my base and leaves with his probe.I get a stalker and hunt his probe instead of killing his pylon because he cant possibly warp in units.I kill his probe go for his pylon i reach it to 0% energy 80% life and he warps 2 zealot.I get another stalker.I completely stupidly wtf,rofl kill his 1 zealot and then he warps 4 more zealots while i get 2 zealots.

You can imagine how this went 4 vs 2 gateway because i ffs left his pylon alive thinking he couldnt possibly kill me with it...

A little back story on this one...

Basically some friends and I were playing a king of the hill style friendly games . Lots of offracing and stuff to keep things fresh too. Chosen map becomes Delta Quadrant (the one with the back expo similar to God's Garden on BW).

This is probably one of the quickest FML's of the thread so far.

Yep, I managed to wall off the wrong ramp somehow. Rofll not sure how I didn't notice this until my opponent laughed at me. I don't have the replay anymore (didn't save it) so I recreated it v a computer.

Haha! I did the exact same thing upon warming up on IOL day 1 at the ladder. I was talking to people while going on auto-pilot then I'm like "what the fu.." and realize I just walled off my backdoor expo.

Some guy 6 raxed me, I killed the SCV building the rax when it was like 99% complete. I typed "

" but he had two more scvs coming at that moment and finished it, built a bunker, we microed back and forth, and I eventually lost.

I was playing against a Zerg. Scouted him extensively and walled off away from my ramp to protect both the main and the FE. Turned out he had built a proxy hatchery in my main.

Oh, and after that I made a thread for FML SC stories on TL and got banned ten minutes later...
