Hahahahahah I know the feeling. Did a canon contain. Feeling pretty smug. Got my expo out. Scouted my main for any shenanigans like a drone or OL spotting (just in case of a nydus). Then... RAWWWWR OH SHEEEEETT, scout around base... and find a drone sitting next to a worm. /facepalm myself.

i played against this player once called Wave.
it was a TvZ, me being terran.

i made a number of siege tanks and a decent sized MM ball..
so i was making a push out across the map, when suddenly..

banelings popped outta the ground and exploded on everyone's face

Had about 14 overlords full of banelings, and about 25 mutas. Unexpectedly flew them over a mass marine army. Panicked and couldn't hit the right hotkey for drop. Everything dies.

Before a recent patch my game froze up whenever I tabbed out of it. The control key is mighty close to the windows key...fmkeyboard

i stoped all my works from mining early game by pressing s when i meant to make scv and i didnt notice for good 5 seconds

Scouted enemy 1 base roach all in, made 3 sentries and awaits easy victory. Right before he comes, my warpgate upgrade is finished so I tried to Warp my gateways into warpgates. Somehow my hotkey got fucked up and instead of spamming g to warp, I spammed g while using sentries and used guardian shield on all of them. Enemy roach all in comes, I have 0 energy to forcefield T.T

Was playing a team game and an enemy T tried to drop a nuke on my main army as we were fighting. I ran my guys away just as the gigantic mass muta ball of his teammate flew into the battle. He ended up nuking his buddy and handing us the game.

I can only imagine what their teamchat was like at that moment!

Everytime I lose to DT rush D:.

My protoss friend told me about one he went up against tho that was far worse, the player he met said after like 30s something similar too "oh shit I was afk fuckfuckfuck". So well, my friend decides to scout anyway of course because he might be lying, so he comes to the base, and seemingly the guy wasn't lying, he had like no probes and no buildings, and then BADABOOOM 2 zealots enter his base. GG

I (zerg) played against a Protoss on Metalopolis. Closeposition.
He at 7 o´clock me at 4 o´clock.

My plan was 14 pool 16 hatch.
Scouted his base just to make sure there is no 2 gate zealot on the way.
Finally scouted the Cyberneticscore ,planted my hatch down and continued to make drones. Meanwhile blindly made some queens and drones.
few minutes later the overlord arrives at the base and i managed to see additional gates planted down by him.
I was like: "yeah 4 gate!!!" im very confident against a 4 gate at my level. (platinum)
Ok time to make a few spinecrawler and a few zerglings just to be safe.
At that point i realised, "oh holy crap", i totally forgot my spawning pool, got about 400-500 minerals,only drones and fearing the 4 gate would totally smash me.
Anyway i managed to get the pool up ,another hatch at my expo to block the choke, and about 4 spinecrawler. i still won the game but that feeling when you realize you forgot your pool and a 4 gate is about to blast through your base and you have got nothing but drones.....
but against any other player who manages to scout properly this would have been a complete disaster

oh and theres anotherone.

ZvZ. i think it was blistering sands. but doesnt matter.
the beginning was just fine. positioned a zergling in front of his base just to check when he moves out. you probably know what happened.
i´ve seen 5-6 roaches passing my zergling.
Ok time to make some units. I felt very confident at that point because i planted 1 spinecrawler down and 5 pairs of zerglings are on the way and 2 queens are there too.
the roaches came my ramp up. meanwhile i was like: "man these zerglings take hours to build..."
roaches coming nearer and are attacking the spinecrawler.
still confident. "i got this come on zerglings! SPAWN!!!!"
at that point suddenly 5 overlords popped out of my hatchery.....
lost so hard....

I had a morning full of FML moments today.
1. Log on battle.net, see I have a ton of bonus points and one win will put me over 1800. Fist pump, click *Find Match*. In the loading screen, I see my opponent is Z. Fist pump again, because I'm very comfortable with my ZvZ. Game loads, I'm Protoss. FML

2. In that same game, I see my opponent FE, so I drop a forge in my base instantly and put a pylon behind his mineral line at his nat. I click on the forge to see it's almost done, just warping in. Instead of hitting 1 (probe), I hit ESC and cancel the forge. FML.

3. Next game I actually choose Z, end up in a ZvT on metalopalis in close run positions. I 5 roach rush, which does a good amount of damage, followed by expo/ling speed and then get a lair. I spawn a creep tumor with my queen and make a spire when my lair finishes, as I keep microing my roaches to harass the T as much as possible. His siege tank pops out and sieges and I fist pump again: wasted gas on tanks = delayed thors. I go back to my base to see the spire progress, see drone chillin' by the creep tumor. FML. I still won the game, but that was a huge hassle having to defend the terran push with ONLY zerglings.

I see my terran opponent getting vikings after his first attack got chewed up by my colossi, think nothing of it and make more colossi. Attack, die, lose. FML.

Ladder game just now. Long game, ZvT. I took the map and had 5 bases to 2. He turtled, built up a 200/200 army of upgraded thors and tanks, and I tried some nydus worms and then drops.

Learned two things.

1) If you don't set a rally point for your nydus and hit "unload all" it will not "unload all" and you may end up with 100 supply of units sitting in there for the rest of the game while you try to figure out why after every time your army dies you still have 140 supply.

2) I didn't actually know how to do moving drops.

Worst loss ever.

this exact same thing happened to me the other day. I was just doing the usual apm spam and then I was like "wait... this isn't right"

then I messed up my wall. I lost that game.
