In the next day or so you'll be seeing a different type of ad from the standard AdSense ones. I just want to make one thing clear. This is not set in stone if most people do not like this I'll swap back to the more traditional ad setups.

I do want comments on what people think, good or bad.

Hey Shadowed, speaking of monetization - have you considered expanding the site with some pay-only features (that otherwise would cost too much if available freely to all)? A nice one that I could think of is a team / player list management tool where users can add more attributes or info to a SC2 player account. Say if I want to create a database of Vietnamese SC2 players with real names, contact details and a portrait photo... - it can be done using sc2ranks API but if that's readily made on the site I think some people may want to pay to use it. Just a thought

I'm not really looking to monetize to that degree, ads are about it and even those I'm trying to be careful and not make them annoying ads that people hate.

Yeah, ads aren't a big deal, and considering the services your application is providing to gamers, I don't think anyone should be T_T over it.

I'm still impressed by the magnitude of the webbing methodology you use to effectively find everyone on sc2 b.net using the otherwise weak associations of who's in what league. Keep up the great work!

Yes it is. At Blizzcon I asked him straight up if he was the #1 random player dayvie and he said yes. Also apparently all members on the SC2 balancing team at Blizzard are diamond league random players.

Couple of changes tonight:

Ads reverted to the old style, video ads were driving me crazy (this is old, but never posted)
Character searching now shows the bracket for the team thats being shown in points/wins/etc
Optimized character searching, removed a query that was no longer used
Added the ability to filter rankings by activity (last game played)
Added stat filtering by activity (last game played), this only applies to live data, not previous patches
Should have fixed a bug that would cause the last history record to show 8-9+ weeks on the timestamp

Working on fixing a bug causing the queue to freak out and add too many division updates

I don't know for sure, but it seems a bug may have been introduced. Whether it's a bug or not... when you sort search results by rating (by pressing the rating button) it sorts alphabetically instead of numerically.
It also does not prioritize diamond over other leagues, but I know that's always been the case (but should be fixed)

Lastly, I think it would be a really useful feature if search results would display the rating of a matchup of the searcher's choosing (such as only 1v1), instead of just displaying their best matchup's rating.
