I'm interested in starting to play Zerg, but I can't stand the Zerg announcer voice. Is there any way to change it? During the beta there was a mod that changed the voice to the Overmind voice from StarCraft.

If anyone knows a way to change the voice to any other voice, wether it is the voice from StarCraft, or the StarCraft 2 voice from Terran or Protoss, please tell me! I really want to play zerg, but I can't stand " WE REQUIRE MORE MINERALSSSSSSS "

mineralssssssssss is now just minerals. you don't notice it after a while

You can always turn off the voices all together.

I never noticed any of this mineralzzzz thing and I've been playing zerg the whole beta. Guess I just focus more on the game.

as far as i know the game checks gamefiles before starting and just wont start if you changed them - correct me if im wrong

I understand your concern, and i can agree that some of the voices aren't the most, how to say this delicate, enjoyable? I also wonder why there aren't more choices, possible changes. Why not change the faces of all the units to people of your choice? How nice wouldn't it be to have Winston Churchill say "Battlecruiser operational" and then let him massacre a Zerg base? Or Darth Vader?

I'm just saying there could be more choices. Maybe this will come...

Blizzard should patch up and give us options to change to old school voices (give Broodlord Guardian voice and corrupter devourer voice).

That will be nice.

Overmind voice > female voice
SC1 Zerg unit voices > SC2 zerg unit voices in general.

yea im in the same boat, why didnt they get her to do the zerg announcer voice?

Even the overmind had more "zergy" feel to it.
