Sorry guys. I am the player "Vascasus" if anyone wants to read this thanks.
Firstly you should get out 4 zerglings once the pool is done so you can scout. You also didn't even scout him at all once you knew where he was location wise. He could have been proxy raxing you or some shit like that!
You went pretty overboard on the spine crawlers in your main. You shouldn't ever need spine crawlers in your main at that time, and almost never having 5!! As zerg you always want 1 base more than a T or P, you should probably make your hatchery at like 15 supply to 20 supply or so, his expo was started before yours lol and you NEVER EVER want a T to make an expo before you do. You should use hotkeys for your Hatchery's and army also, the only hotkeys you had was for queens. If the terran (or toss) just leaves you alone all game long you should really just take the whole map with hatchery's so you can just go and roll him later on
You should try to extend your creep more. Sure you may have been able to 'out-macro' him by making more units, but pure ling muta doesn't work too well... make some hydras, infestors, roaches etc.
Also while I can understand that you may be angry at the end. You shouldn't take it out on your opponent and if you really outplayed the shit out of him then you would have won
Hey y'all- I'm on the hunt for high-level Terran ladder replay packs. I'm a high-end diamond player who made a brief visit to masters last season, and since the bunker and stim nerf I've really taken a hit in my play level...it's time for me to reevaluate and look at some new strategies done by the best in SC2.
I watch all the usual youtube casters (Halby, Husky, Day9, etc), and these are all fine and dandy, but they tend to be games that are interesting to watch and not necessarily normal ladder games. Whenever I do the destiny cloud fist (1/1/1) build as the pros often do, for example, I get beat by 4 gate pushes, void ray pushes, terran early M&M aggression, etc, all before the 7 minute mark when the 1/1/1 is still pretty weak. I'd really like to see how the pros alter these builds to accommodate for aggression before the 7 minute mark.
I've browsed through packs of replays by VTpokebunny and XiLith, but these are both sets of mostly practice games, and I can't help but feel they're weeding out games from the batch.
In short: pro/masters/grandmasters terran ladder replay packs, preferably patch 1.3 but I'll take what I can get. Anyone know of any?
Can anyone analyze my replays? Even though I am winning in these, I'd like to look for problems in my gameplay in general. Like fundamental problems in my gameplay. I'm in gold btw.
Things I need to improve: Micro, the first encounter of forces made me lol after XD. I'm sure you will too. I targeted the middle marine so the lings ran around.
Things I did good: Not much, but towards the end of the game when I attacked with my mutas I knew if I killed all of his SCV's he would be forced to all-in. I also knew if I had to retreat before killing the SCV's I could supply block him. With both things done, I embarrassed myself after by losing 5000 mutas and my entire army to siege tanks and marines+vikings XD. Still won though.
