The zerg player decides to do a banelingbust which is successful and gets into the base just before the warpgate tech is complete. The aftermath is 10 probes against 40 drones. Protoss player decides to go blinkstalker to keep the zerg player busy while he goes for DTs. The rest is a long battle and the protoss players comeback into the game. Can he hold everything off though? | ||

I had to fight my way up from bronze and have improved very impressively, but many bad habits have stuck with me. That being said, this post is all about strange decisions I had to make, because of a single mistake in the early game. See if you can spot it. 0:49 - Pylon drops a full second earlier than usual. Hooray for small victories. 1:20 - Thought I saw something, SCV in my base tips me off that I'm headed in the wrong direction. I'm trying to get better at watching my minimap. 2:50 - I just started gas stealing terran, and I now realize I don't have enough minerals for a pylon and a fast cybercore. Need to iron that out. 2:58 - hmm, energy is kind of high. Did I only cronoboost probes once? (yes, I'm awful) 6:00 - Cutting probes to get out some production buildings. 6:57 - Probe transfer. 7:45 - Gonna make an Immortal, hmm, not enough gas. Guess I'll make zealots. 8:00 - Supply blocked, because I'm terrible 8:13 - Props to Liquid`Tyler 8:40 - A tank? That's unusual. 8:43 = 1 Racks, 2 Racks, Tech Factory, and a Tech Starport?! 8:45 - And a Ghost Academy?! Is this guy crazy or am I in some serious trouble? 8:50 - Heh heh, extra supplies on that depot. And an expo... 9:10 - Woah, lots of minerals, and so little gas! What's going on here? 9:20 - I should be able to start my forges, but I have no gas... guess I need an observer for his shitty banshee attack. 9:50 - finally have enough gas for double ups. What am I going to do with all these minerals? 10:10 - 6 gates? 10:45 - If I try to make colossi, they'll be trapped... and he's got tanks, so I may want to shy away from too many gateway units... 11:05 - Phoenix should do it, the tank army will be slow and I can harass. Phoenix are cheap too, since I have so little gas... 12:12 - Stargates are done, but I don't have enough gas for 2 phoenix! I'm not even making sentries! 12:40 - So many minerals! Guess I'll expand. Sorry Day[9]. 13:25 - Making lots of zealots, still low on gas... Guess I can make more gateways since zealots are cheap. 15:20 - Holy shit! What's he doing with all those Ghosts! 16:00: Double ups? No gas! 16:20 - Head count! What's with all the zealots? 17:15 - Shit. How long has that been un-warped? 17:45 - 12 gate to victory! 19:35 - Let's see what he's up to. 19:57 - Oop! 20:05 - Whoop! 20:07 - Yikes! 20:08 - Hah! 20:09 - Let's see if this idiot will EMP himself. 20:11 - OH MY GOD HE DID IT! HAH! 20:20 - Well, that freed up some supply. Turrets and Ghosts everywhere, that supply's better spent elsewhere. Anyway, the rest of the match progresses more or less as expected. I got 17 points from him since he was so favored to win. Did you spot the mistake? | ||
