Recently played against my flatmate who perfected the 2 gate into 4 gate. I was playing very badly lately with Zerg and we started to do some 1v1's. I lost every single one of them except for one 6-pool game. Mind you, that is about 20 games of which I lost 19!

Needless to say, that was extremely frustrating. So I started doing sets of 30 pushups on my knuckles after a loss. He would walk into my room to discuss the game, seeing me doing pushups after almost every game

Each day I did 150 pushups, so those 300 in two days are quite a record for me

That sounds like a great idea actually. Negative reinforcement like that is great for the body and great for strengthening the mind.

So, I just came back from a hiatus and as a result, I've been RAGIN' good. I recently had a game where I got 6 pooled, I would have held it but I messed up my wall. I felt so clever, and the lings just ran by. I was furious.

Then again, next game I accidentally made a tight wall and my opponent 6 pooled me that game too. Lost 1 game due to bad walling, won 1 due to bad walling.

I played a bronze kid last week who BC'd me to death. I had some voids, but all he had made were BCs, and I just didn't have a prayer. As a plat player, I was mortified to check his profile after the game and realize that I had lost to a bronze player. I quit Starcraft and proceeded to clean my entire apartment. I'm talking serious clean. Kitchen, bathroom, even under the bed. Rage Clean!! lol.

this is my own rage, which i feel was warranted

i was zerg with a terran teammate against two protoss. after their initial zealot mass didn't work, i scouted them and saw them scrambling for stargates.

me: they're going mass voidray, need a lot of anti air
teammate: okay

10 minutes later, with various skirmishes and what not, mass voidrays hit our expos. i send my hydras and some corruptors against both players voidrays. my terran teammate sent 14 banshees at them, which didn't even have cloak.

i raged so hard at him then quit. i was literally stunned.

I rage too much, win or lose. If I beat someone who is doing something just unsound, I rage at them not for being bad but for not trying to learn the game. Like if they try to do proxy rax/gates/whatever and it's evident from their match history that they only do that and their record is piss poor, I flip out on them for continually being so stupid. Or if someone says that I won because T is OP then I rage back (more so if they're Protoss, not so much if they're Zerg). I'm generally not an angry person but something about Starcraft has always done it to me. I'm working on it though. : /

Well my rage story was I was playing CombatEx in sc2 and I was just about to get my mutalisk how (He had fast expanded so it allowed me to get about 800 gas up) He still didn't have any cannons at his main or natural when a phone call happened. I hit f10 and in my rush I didn't use hotkeys and hits surrender instead of pause. Maybe my memory is diluted but didn't sc2 have the thing that says Are you sure? or something like that. Anyways i accidentally quit and i took it out on the caller.

Nothing special, but I just love it when Terran players (who are commonly ranked much higher than they should be just because they can kind of pull that early 3rax aggression plus ghost off) fail with that attack and are then owned by massive amounts of units, charge and storm.

The last guy even tried it on Temple, cross-position, vs. my 2gate robo. I see it light-years ahead of time, he EMPs my stalkers instead of my three Immortals, gets FFed in. I choose to play it safe, immediately take my gold and outmass him. All game he didn't try anything to come back, didn't change his tech tree, just more MM and medivacs. Tries one drop but I have enough observers and he forgets about his drop ships in my vision so it fails as well. So at 200/200 with ~14 warpgates and enough resources stock-piled to continously re-build wave after wave, I overrun him and what do I get? "Protoss fucking overpowered", "storm overpowered", *leaves*.

Today I have been owned by mass marines, MM drops, and marine/medic/thor pushes, all basically being 1-A moves.

I will throw 1.5x the cost of an army at him and come out on the wrong end of the deal then I rage my way out of the game.

Playing tvz (was t). i wanted to do a fast 1 hellion 6 marine push.
but when i scouted my ramp i saw about 12 lings and 8 blings(still in eggs) .
I added 2 bunkers behind my wallin-depots and waited . he runs in and busted even trough, but i killed his lings with my remaining units.

he : camping terrans are so low .....
