I like Psy starcraft for zerg.

He has an extremely simple play style, and he teaches you how to gain the economic advantage. He also does boss ass stuff like: baneling carpet bomb, 1 queen tank with 3 transfusers, high ground neural parasiting.

He's extremely fun to watch, and he plays alot of pros too.

This would be roughly my list too, minus Orb if you don't like whining.

When he gets back to doing it consistently, Orb Knows Best is pretty good for any copper-gold level players. It's not at all like his stream. His normal stream is pretty average just because he spends less time analyzing what he's doing and more time whining about OP.

I guess it depends on what you want to get from it - actually focusing on learning stuff, or mainly entertainment (I watch SC2 like others watch soccer basically =P) with the added bonus of maybye being able to pick up something you can use or investigate more later.

I agree HD and Husky are perhaps not perfect when it comes to all the small details of the techical stuff, but they make up for it with enthusiastic commentary, and thats probably even more important atleast in terms of entertainment value.

Rise and Diggity is both quality imo.

If your starved for good commentaries you can check out sc2gg.com, they got a lot of good quality commentaries.

Yeah, everyone knows Day9 and Chill are great but Gretorp is really, really good too.
I also like djWheat and Martijn from GLHF, but I don't like Gunrun who Martijn always casts with so..
Oh and Rise, for sure watch his casts.
Hm, and Joseki is good (he's also quite a good player) but his casting partners aren't too great..

Gotta agree with the majority of people, that Day9 is one of the best, if not the best commentator. Hd and Husky are ok, but lack some knowledge of builds and such but still entertaining to listen to, also orb is a surprisingly good commentator although he rarely commentates defiantly check him out. Another great caster is Thegunrun, although he is still new to starcraft his casts are really entertaining and he also casts a lot of great tourneys in awesome quality.

Rhavanna is awesome!

Really great Terran player, who provides humorous, yet insightful commentary to her own or others' games.
Highly recommended stream!

Day9 is of course a given but apart from him I really like Diggity and Klazart. Too bad that Klazart isn't commenting any more

Joseki is great. He's on the iccup stream most nights at 8pm EST. Very knowledgeable, great at explaining stuff, and willing to answer questions.

I like everyone BUT this guy. I find his commentaries incredibly annoying and he usually picks pretty stupid games to commentate on.

Diggity is probably one of my favorite overall, though I wish he'd do more commentaries.

Husky is my favorite to watch for entertainment. Day9 is best for in-depth analysis, and I've learned a lot from him (sometimes he sounds pretentious and it puts me off, but I know it's not intentional <3). goatrope is good fun just to have in the background while I'm doing other things. I've learned a lot just watching orb play and rage; he's not as high level as other skilled players in my opinion, but he says some really deep things off hand that don't occur to many commentators.

Day9, Rise (funny as hell), Chill (funny guy as well), orb (very knowledgable about the game), Dj Wheat is decent, but feels like hes missing a bit of game knowledge.

Dont know much about the others
I'm Norwegian/Dutch. Just the awesome parts of them though :D

Day9, Nony, Chill, Tasteless, and maybe orb are the only ones I really like. They actually have a clue what they are talking about.

I like DJwheat too, but I know hes pretty bad so he definitely needs a co caster for deeper insight. With a co caster though he definitely seems to understand how to commentate games better then just about anyone.
