I was just a bad casual D+ Terran in SC1, but I somehow got lucky and went 5-0 and into Platinum in my placement matches, but haven't played in it yet because it went down for maintainence right after I got placed. How badly am I going to be raped? If the rape is too painful, how long until they mercifully drop me down to Gold? I don't even know the basics. All I do is pick Random and: Zerg vs Anything?? Mass roaches. Terran vs Anything? Mass M&M&M, with ghosts if vs P Protoss vs Anything? Mass Zeals/Stalkers/Immortals I seriously doubt that shit is going to work in Platinum league. | ||

Mass Zeals/Stalkers/Immortals I seriously doubt that shit is going to work in Platinum league. its gonna work..i was only C on sc1(with terran) went 3-2 in placement on saturday(hadnt ever touched the game and was just dicking around) got put in silver, and 3 1/2 days later i was #1 in my plat div. theres some good players up there though, but some reallllly bads too | ||

I was a bad D Terran in SC1, I play bad Platinum Terran in SC2, M&M&M works vs (almost) anything. NOOOoooo idea if the other races' matchups are as easy though ^^; If they reset the ladder at some point, I'm purposely going to lose games to stay in gold, it's really difficult for (a bad player like) me to try anything new in platinum. Your experience sounds extremely similar to mine so far though. To answer your thought - that shit will probably work in Platinum league. | ||
