I'd love to nominate myself, but it seems as though I've actually already gotten an awful lot more out of TL than I've given back.

When my employer told me I wasn't allowed to keep a personal blog anymore, TL is where I started to post my blogs, and I'm really happy to have had everyone who's been reading them and offering advice and criticism on my writing style to talk to. It's made a massive difference. Without TL I probably wouldn't be writing as much as I am now...

So with that in mind, it feels more than a bit shitty to try and nominate myself for a key, so I have to say, give it to Vestige

Why should I get a beta key? Ever since I visited Korea nearly 2 years ago, I flipped on to the mbc game channel, watched a Luxury vs Best Ever OSL semifinals match, and I was hooked. I was rooting for Luxury, but it was still a great series. Ever since then, I have watched e-sports religiously and played Starcraft. If you ask me a question about any progamer, I can answer it for you. You know, I used to think gaming was nerdy, because I played basketball and football for my school, but ever since that one visit, I have asked many of my friends to play starcraft and watch Korean VODs. I even started a Starcraft club at my school. And then I found TL. It was the ultimate site for me. I check this page at least 10 times a day. I only became a member a few months ago, but I have signed up for the R4 fantasy season and i am doing liquibets. I wish I could post more, but I just don't think I'm good enough to give people advice yet. As for the Starcraft 2 Beta, I opted-in on Blizzard since the beginning, and still nothing. I have made 5 accounts now, but still nothing. So I entered numerous contests on different webstites including TL, but I have not won any of those. One day on facebook, I waited a whole day pressing f5 all day just for a chance at a precious beta key, but still nothing. My computer specs are fine though because I just bought a brand new toshiba labtop just to play SC2. It cost 700$ and had very good specs like core 2 duo processor and good graphics card. I would do just about anything right now for a beta key. My friends also want to play SC2, so if you give me one, I will most definitely share my account with friends.. Please choose me and send me one

Like most of the people in this thread I will be nominating myself for a beta key, however I will do it in the 3rd person so that I seem a bit less self-serving.

LodiDodi should definitely get one of the beta keys. He visits TL daily to read the discussions on strategy and patch changes. While this is his first post it is only because he is held back by his lack of experience in SC2, a problem which a beta key would quickly remedy. Despite this limitation he will add more and more to the community in the next few days as proof of his devotion. LodiDodi is not only a big fan of SC2 and TL but he is in general just a great human being Many a time I have come to him for advice and guidance and he has been my lighthouse in the storm of life.

EDIT: I can also confirm that LodiDodi's girlfriend is getting pissed at him for the amount of time he spends watching replays and streams of a game he can't even play.

Wow.. My first post will be dedicated to this nomination, and apparently, I will give the first impression of being a selfish jerk as I'd like to nominate myself

I'm a lover of RTS games since the first real game I ever got on a PC, Warcraft 1, I played it until my fingers nearly bled, I loved the idea of having to harvest something, to be able to get something, and with Orc's badass red eyes glowing, it was hard not to just stare and drool while your peons shop away wood to fuel the war.

Anyway, as most here would probably know, the amount of -good- RTS games out there, as of late, is extremly slim, I've barely been able to play any at all since so many just seem so lazy, badly made or just plain retarded.

Having a chance at getting a beta key, to take part of what is most likely going to become THE thing in RTS gaming, what properly got me into PC gaming in the first place, is extremly important and a really big deal for me, and knowing I can make a diffrence in giving feedback in Starcraft 2, is amazing.

I'm here now making this nomination, hoping I'll get a chance to be a part of it, becouse being in EU, it's quite hard im finding, to get key elsewhere. (Maybe I just got bad luck <.<)

I got to honest, I've always shyed a bit away from these forum, becouse what basicly everyone is saying, this is the place where the elite of RTS games show themselves, so I was kind of intimidated by it

I hope I'll be able to be a part of it no less though, and for a fun future, hopefully with SC2 beta being a part of it, so I hope you'll consider me, and thanks so much for reading! ^^

I've known him for a really long time (going on like 6 years), and he's the one who got me into Starcraft and progaming. He's a pretty big fan of the proscene and he's going on 2k posts on TL, so he's a pretty active poster on this site.

I won't be original, and i will nominate myself, since i don't have my beta key yet.
Is there any reason for which i should get the key? Well, i don't think so, but i surely won't get it if i don't try

.I have this acc here for quite a while, but i have never posted anything. I like to read articles more, than write anything so that's probably why? (I haven't loged for so long that i had to remind what nick i had here, and sent myself a password reminder :D). The only thing i have ever done for TL was telling people that this it is the best place you can get good info about SC:BW. I even used links to your articles in latest Blizz beta key giveout contest, but considering my luck i won't get key this time too.
