Enjoyed episode 30 but I wish someone would have asked about practice standards, like how korean teams use a practice schedule and so far western teams to my knowledge don't. You'd think for Idra to come out and say he was practicing 3 hours a day, one week prior to MLG, would be a poor reflection on team management.

It would be really nice to have a direct link to the mp3 file on the onemoregame.tv website when you click on on the shows... those mp3 are seriously hard to find (at least for those of us who avoid iTunes at all cost).

I know it's not "necessary", but I think this would enhance the quality of the site.

Note about prize pools and Wheat was asking about how poker does them. The world series withholds 4.2 percent of the total prizepool.

I can't believe I had missed a little segment about my post, even if I don't really appear like a genius in it :D That was nice. I tuned in when the guy asked a question about players paying money to enter the tourney, and didn't watched the vod so didn't knew I missed anything.

Btw, the answer about the poker buyins is that the organizer often takes 10% for himself. (sometimes 5% online, upto 20% in some Las Vegas casino low buyin tourneys)

If you email eyequeue @ onemoregame.tv I'm sure he'd be happy to help with that. We want to make the content as accessible as possible, but we also don't know every single method people are using to download/grab the show. I'm certain that if you took the time to mail, they could make that happen!

you can not say this is NASL's first event as an excuse for the sound issues. why? because unless this is also the first event for the sound guys, they should have been prepared for the issues, whatever they were. if this was really their first time (the sound ppl), then i agree with wheat, in that they put the money on the wrong people.

aside from the sound, there wasnt much, just a lot of small stuff like the overlay, the in booth cameras showing player's forehead for like hours before someone fixed it. the scheduling, holy shit was that ever a fuck up, too much time spent on useless stuff and not enough games for a tournament like this. the tournament format, single elim bo3? at such a big tournament? that's just embarrassing to be honest. these are the stuff that you can sort of blaming it on being NASL's first live event.

its great that the in person experience is so good, but i can't see how that should be a priority as im sure they would make more money from online subscriptions. do they even have to pay to get in the venue? imo, not enough shits were given for the online viewers overall.
