Why does anyone, do anything? The majority of people just auto-pilot through life, because it's the 'normal' thing to do. Some people like to be different. You only live once.

Day[9], u know how to touch a guy's heart. : D

Why "waste" time doing anything we love in life?
Why "waste" time reading books? Why "waste" time playing sports? Why "waste" time watching movies?
Nothing is a waste of time if it is something you love and are passionate about. Pursuing what makes us happy in life is the entire purpose to our existence. Doing what we are told purely for the reasoning of abiding to the social norm is more of a "waste" of time than anything.

Why waste your time getting out of bed? lol

Day[9] if you see this, plz do NOT read this post :D
I had an idea today and maybe someone has already think about something like this.
The koreans have a way to honor players and commentators by giving them their own title like 'The Emperor' or 'The Maestro'.
I believe the tl.net community should honor Day[9] by giving him a title name to celebrate his 12 years of Starcraft but more importantly, his HUGE contribution to the SC community. In my opinion, he deserves such a title.
This should represent his personnality, his knowledge and maybe, the race he use to play. I was thinking something like 'The Overmind', wich would represent his wisdom and his affinity with zerg. But it could be something else.
I'm only throwing the idea here, but I believe it would be awesome to come with such a title.
What do you guys think?

Great Idea, i'd call him "The Thinker", but "Starcraft Professor" sounds good as well. ^^'
He teached me a lot in all those day9-daily's and with his knowledge and enthusiasm and love for SC, he'd be the man if we ever needed a prof. for SC. ^^'
Another Idea could be "Big Bro", for several reasons:
- He is just an overall good guy that want's to help others and has no intention of hurting anyone, just like a good brother should be. - He has a lot of knowledge of SC and gaming in general and shares it with others, but not for showing off or anything, just because he loves SC so much and want's all SC-Fans to become one big family. - He plays Zerg and koreans call the Ultras "Big Brothers" - He, his Brother (Tasteless) and his Mother (The awesome-sc-mom! ^^) seem to be very close, so it fit's him in a more private way as well I guess. - He is watching almost every match that is being played (at least the Pro-games ) in SC1 and SC2 - he is watching you! ^^' But not in a creepy kind of way... xD

Why could call him Day 9, kinda crazy I know, but I think it would work.

That's not the point. In Korea, it's an honor that the community comes up with a Nickname that they think fit the Person they give it to. Day[9] is a name he gave to himself, we want to honor him by giving him another nickname, one that came from the community he has done so much for.

Loved every second of it! Thank you for giving so much of urself! :D

I move that we should call him PoopStain... or perhaps something to do with that Velcro Snowboots story... that shit was so funny.

How about The Ambassador? That is what he wants to be after all

That IS a really good idea. It sounds very Protoss... which would be perfect if that was his race... but its a great fit either way. It's a very Starcraft sounding title.

The Ambassador, I really like it.

The Ambassador nickname gets my vote.
It's fitting, and it sounds awesome

Yeah, The Ambassador suits him perfectly.
