I tried searching TL but there didnt seem to be any posts regarding this issue. I have absolutely everything turned down to low, as my specs are quite low. I have no problem playing, getting 60fps all the time. I could turn up my graphics a little, but dont wanna risk my fps dropping. However, there are these weird issues that are sorta bugging me out.
1) I play zerg, but when I scout P ive noticed that my screen turns all fuzzy and wavy, kinda like every pixel is vibrating? It happens ONLY when I look at a nexus. I have played P and confirmed that it happens when its my nexus too.
2) When I fight against stalkers or phoenixes, sometimes their beams will glitch out and cover the entire screen in their pale blue/white light for a split second. Its not very deterring as it only last a very very short time, but still it looks bad.
3) Now this one actually messes with my gameplay: when I spawn corruptors, their legs will cover my entire screen.. Imagine cutting down a tree, and looking down at the tree trunk so it looks circular, but zoomed in alot. That is whats happening with their tentacles, and it wont go away until i make them move, and i cant see shit. It sort of is like the second glitch with the stalker/phoenix beam, except it lasts much much longer.
Anybody experience this? Is this a glitch that is just specific to low settings? I didnt notice that when I played on my friends computer but his settings were all turned up to ultra, or the highest they could go.
edit: for problem 1), when the screen turns wavy, it lags too, so ill have a hard time scrolling. I noticed this happens when they use their boost? thingy.. the skill that speeds up production

Those sound crazy. I've never seen any major graphical glitch in the game, let alone 3 of them as you seem to have experienced (repeatedly?).
The only issue I've ever noticed with any of the graphics are simply aesthetic, such as the clipping of certain surfaces as buildings are being constructed. Nothing major.
Make sure you report this on the b.net forums.

CPU: Pentium M 1.6Ghz GPU: Geforce 6800 Go 256M RAM: 2GB DDR2
That about covers the core parts I believe... What's unique about my setup? It sucks balls compared to most other users xD In all seriousness though, It meets min. requirements minus the CPU, but I don't think a bottleneck at the CPU would cause my glitches.. I see little relevance in the problems to the CPU.

I have the same problem with a nvidia card... On medium or ultra it works fine.

Have you tried installing the latest driver from nvidia.com? Blizzard will probably be interested in this along with your current driver version which you can check by going to start -> run 'dxdiag' (or just start -> dxdiag in windows 7/vista) then looking in the display tab.

Yeah for some reason the "High" settings on the Shaders and Lighting are disfunctional with some cards after the latest patch. Turn the settings on Shaders and Lighting from "High" to either "Medium" or "Ultra" to fix this problem.

I am not using the latest patch, but I do not remember which version it was off the top of my head. I am at work, but I will make sure to post up my driver version as soon as I get home, which will be in about an hour if I can sneak out early

Heh, your lappy's just as shitty as mine! I'm sitting at 1.86GHz with a 6600 go and I can 100% confirm your #1. I pretty much can't play protoss because a few parts of the map will just turn "wavy", slowing everything down. As for the stuff covering your entire screen I'm not sure. It might be there but I'm so busy cursing my inevitable demise that I don't pay attention to white blinks during fights. I did have some artifact cover up my entire screen before whenever I was looking at a zerg army though, maybe that was a corrupter like you mentioned.
Anyways our systems look very close so I think you can be safe with calling that a more general hardware feature. I don't think the GO line is officially supported by blizzard though.

I have an small issue, I have effects on ultra and all that junk but little details wont emerge and I dont quite know what to change so i can see them, for example: hellion flames, as of now I only see an elongated orange oval, no flames. and secondly the flares that come from buildings that are flying around
anyone know what graphic setting i change to see these details?
