This doesn't explain why they are still so high ranked in the SC2 leagues. Their playstyle seems to work even against all the rushers they have to face, otherwise they wouldn't be all high platinum league

great mechanics and huge apm do help them against lower lvl players

Far from it, alright so the new thing is 14 hatchery close enough to the old 13 that it really makes no difference, but toss FE is still fucking beast as rushes as so easy to fend off in sc2. There is a reason these guys are topping plat divisions and it's not because they are using back BOs or are stuck in SC1.

want to add that yesterday dimaga won the first Zotac SC2 Beta Cup. Doesn't tell that much but at least gives a hint to his current skill-level.

Protoss should try to forge fe. Its basically like 2 gate expansion but with the possiblity of expanding early due to cannons or even cannonrushing greedy zergs. Also lingall in is no option as you can wall in lingtight (at least on maps where you dont have a way to get backstabbed..)

zerg are the only ones really able to fe, but it's pretty risky as bunker rushes are free now (you lose only scvs mining times, cuz bunkers can be scavaged later on for 100% refund) and it's really hard to respond to void ray and zeal rushes

Clearly those ''weak'' BO's are way more effective than the things you are doing since they are pretty much at the top in the rankings.

holgerius SURE!! thats why fast expanding strelok lose to dimaga's only zerlings army(dimaga was fe too, if he techs, he can also go roach+nydus or mutas or just more lings). compared to white-ra who didnt fe one game vs zerg this turney... maybe THIS is the point ?
