The rhomboids are deep to the trapezius in human anatomy. However in hydralisks we find the rhomboids superior to the trapezius. As the throacic vertebrae are superficial on the hydralisk we can find the erector spine and semispinalis anterior to the vertabrae body. The Serratus Posterior (Inferior) can be seen passing from the lumbar vertebrae to the ribs. No but seriously I had to take some creative liberties. Youll also notice a conspicuous absence of rotar cuff muscles (Supraspinatus, Infraspinatus, Teres minor and Subscapularis). How the hydralisk would accomplish lateral rotation or even sufficent abduction is puzzling. Edit: I updated the skeleton lesson to make it easier to read.

Lesson 4: Brachial Plexus ![]() Whoa, that dude has a C8 vertebra? Impressive. I thought Id explain it as simply as possible but I cant pull anything over you guys :p So for clarification c5 through c8 refer to the rami that exit the vertabrea. You have 7 cervical vertebrea and the nerves exit above each of their corresponding vertabrea. So the C1 nerve exits above your C1 vertebrea, C2 nerve above C2 vertebrae etc.. At C7 (the final vertebrae) you have the C7 nerve emerging above. You also have the C8 nerve emerging below. Now after the C7 vertebrae you have the thoracic vertebrae begining with T1. The thoracic nerves emerge below their corresponding vertebrea.
