I know it's social sc2 suicide to say something bad about day9 but it becomes very very anoying. Everything is fine, I got the volumes nice... game is running smoth... casting is nice then... 'OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO 2 zerlings get in the base". OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO NOOOOOOOOOOOO I also know that casters should rise the excitement when something is happening but ... there is a big difference between exitement and OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. | ||

I have the coice to MUTe the stream and NOt mute the stream, but that does not mean I like the stream muted and since I like a stream with commentaries, since... that's the point of the commentators, I find it fair to give constructive critisim and hopefully next time I woun't have to mute the stream. | ||

Imo you are just not as excited and passionate about the game as he and most of the viewers are. If you dont like his excitement go watch a tactical post-game (or replay) cast. I would actually be annoyed and bored by casters casting without passion and excitement and since Day9's excitement is obviously true its simply amazing. Keep up your great work Sean! | ||

I just wanted to point out, that if u dont like the excitement which the commentator presents u can mute it. If u like the commentary u can listen to it. If they wud be just staying at the same volume and tone all the time it wud be boring wudnt it? Maybe for u its pain, for others its true excitement and feeling they hav at home as well. :-X And about the die thing u made me rly smile :-X ... | ||

Noone wants commentators "staying at the same volume all the time". And that applies to sky-high screaming volume as well. I dont want football commentators to flip out at every ball contact either. Normally day9 balances his commentary very well. But the last casts were a bit over the top really. | ||

The reason why people say Apollo is to low, is because Day9 yells to much. They are pretty level if you listen to them before a game. Again. Big big difference between excietement and yelling OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I can even give you an example of a comentator that can be very exctiting without yelling. TotalBisquit. | ||

- nestea 3 spine crawlers on toss FE, artosis yelling with the crowd in exctasy. that's genuine, his inner geek couldnt control himself. i bet he even had his hands in the air  - excitment that comes with two sick players in the finals, example would be most of the GSL quater and semi finals (cuz finals themselves are rather bad xD) - upsets, like alicia ending MC's 100% PvP win ratio i don't however like excitment that sounds like "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" or "OOOOOOOOO NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" or excessive complimenting the players for EVERYTHING they do, even when they just play standard games: "OOOOOOOO MY GOOOD HE DIDNT GET SUPPLY BLOCKED" or "OOOOOO ZERG MADE AN OVERLORD AT 9 OOOOO NOOOO MOST KOREANS GO FOR EXTRACTOR TRICK OOOOOOO" ----- all which day9 does. so that could be something Day9 could focus on in the future. its really uncomfortable from watchers point of view to tune up&down the sound all the time. | ||
