That made me confused. I live in Poland but got English version of sc2, so I thought blizzard detects my country and put this regional easter egg. "Żywią y bronią" (with y, because that was proper spelling in XVIII century.) which means "They feed and protect") is a Kosciusko's (Polish and American general) slogan for peasants army who fought with military scythes. That slogan was also part of Polish money, before they changed it on the new in 1995 + Show Spoiler + I guess it's a wink to the polish community which was very active since first Starcraft II.

For clarification, its the smoker from Left for Dead I was totally wondering what that was. I found it through the editor, and was totally perplexed at what it was supposed to be. I never played left for dead, but the doodad/unit's name was smoker. I noticed very prominently was a cigar in his hand — at normal camera levels/zoom it looks like a prominent ring (at least to me), and I had to use some major zoom to see what it really was. Doesn't make much sense for a dead body to have a cig still in their hand, lol. Nova has a model and Mira Han doesn't (at least released to the public) though. Overall I guess it doesn't really matter, but at least it would make a bit more sense.

"Sir, I just detected a massive energy influx in the stars energy readings, it's due to GO NOVA in a few hours!" Pretty standard way of describing a star exploding. "to nova" isn't quite right, so "to go nova" is the way it's used. The star goes nova, it went nova, they go nova. I don't think this is an easter egg, just a standard way of describing something exploding brightly. It's also mediocre dialogue writing, in this case. Technically, this is a reference to the movie "They Live" with Roddy Piper. My contribution to this thread upon my first playthrough: the red dancing hologram in the cantina is doing some of the Night Elf female dance from World of Warcraft. And I didn't see it mentioned here, but Swann and the armory seem to be references to Dwarf Fortress. Swann resembles a dwarf and works in Bay 12. There was some dialogue later on about how he hates caves and likes working with tools and weapons. One of the songs played on the jukebox in the cantina sounded like a re-worded version of "Freedom isn't Free" from "Team America". I went back and listened through again and couldn't find it. I might be imagining things (but it's more likely that Matt Stone and Trey Parker succeeded in creating the most generic-sounding country song ever). One of the tv ads called "Bubba's Gas n Grub" resembles the space diner from "Spaceballs". I'm not sure it's an easter egg, but I'll let you decide. The music in the Tychus/Raynor barfight cutscene is almost directly copied from an episode of "Firefly". Probably a homage or easter egg, considering the abundance of other "Firefly" references, but dangerously close to plagarism, and something that as a composer/musician I really hate to see. It isn't unusual in the business (and Blizzard composers have copied many obscure, but public domain, musical passages: Wagner's Die Walkure in D2X and a piano piece in WoW to name a couple). I'm about to play through the campaign again, so I'll let you know if I see anything that hasn't been mentioned here. Edit: Whoops, forgot one. "Ghostbusters" is referenced in the game quite a bit as has already been pointed out, but the Zeratul/Kerrigan fight has a similarity to the scene where Gozer emerges from the door and pets one of her dogs. This is mirrored at the end when Kerrigan pets one of her two remaining hydralisks. It's a very similar visual to my eyes.

Swann resembles a dwarf and works in Bay 12. Bay 12 you say? Well in that case, Bay 12 is a reference to Aliens. Ripley works the power loader and Sgt Apone laughs, saying "Bay 12, please!"

(as is Asgard) Yea I do know that, but Loki is a character in stargate sg1 (an asgard.) and the asgard have a tendency to name their ships after ppl. The O'neil and the Daniel Jackson for example. And also as MisterD wrote, quite the "coincidence" with the wraiths
