Age: 21 Height: 5'10" Current Weight: 143 lbs (65kg) Goal Weight: 165 lbs (75kg) Starting Date : Jan 5th Goal Date: May 5th I have given myself 5 months to put on 10kg. But its going to be, i hope, mainly muscle. Now I dont know if 5 months seems like too long to put this weight on or not, however im quite an active individual. I train about 9 hours a week (swimming) and I have hardly ever been to the gym or done any sort of weights. I am really pleased with how my body looks considering i've not been using weights (not by choice, there just isnt a very good gym around/dont have any weights at home). I have defined traps, flat stomach, pecs etc. And I have that V thing at the bottom of my stomach which everyone seems to want. However I still consider myself skinny and i'd like to be a bit bigger. IE the picture L!MP posted is really the maximum i'd want to go. Im actually quite serious about this and im going to take some before and after pictures and probably blog it for anyone thats interested. I also completed my Sports Science degree a few months ago so I sort of know what im talking about! | ||

Age:20 Height 6'2 Current Weight 259 Goal Weight 230 Starting Date : Jan 5th Goal Date : March 5th Just have to start working out, put on alot of weight because I was bedridden for a few weeks, just had Leg surgery on my knee. Was a genetic defect of all things that caused it. Anyway hopefully I'll get there. Gogo support group ^^; | ||

I took it easy, 15 min jumprope warmup, then some 5ish handstand pushup sets, equal pullups, some proper deadlifts with a superlight barbell, just to get the form into muscle memory and some quick squats (around) 50, all in all cca 35mins, ended with 10minutes stretching, feeling pretty good. Now my left shoulder and neck scream when I lift the left hand above shoulder level, the wrists hurt a bit (understandable, will stay off handstand pushups for a couple of days), one of my knees protests too (inexplicable really, I'm positive the squats were done in proper form, no less than 80degree for initial safety). What the hell! Get your stuff together body, I'm eating as much as I can and I expect you to be ready for tomorrow! /rant | ||

I'm gonna hit the gym...after i get off tl.net! It's weird when i'm mad or depressed I find it really hard to eat. No matter how hungry my stomach feels everything I try to eat i just want to puke. It sucks im trying to gain weight and i end up losing because of this. Then after my depression is over I can eat normally and gain it back. ;/ | ||

I have never had any problems with getting fat... I can eat whatever and nothing ever happens... on the other hand, I have a really hard time building muscle... This time I'm putting the maximum amount of effort into it... I've tried before but now it's time to do it for real. That means eating 6 times a day, 3k-4k cal. a day etc! Now I play ultimate frisbee, discgolf and floorball just casually. My biggest culprits are everything sweet, pepsi max and coffee. In addition I tend to train (hard) at weird times, like Tuesday evening ultimate frisbee followed by Wednesday morning floorball at work. I know I should do low impact training every day in stead, but I find it hard to do over a longer time period. The goal date is just for a wager, I really just want to get back in shape. | ||
