In the last 2 days, it's like my brain knows it will all be over tomorrow. I've been eating and snacking hardcore, I've even grabbing a beer instead of water if I'm thirsty.

I wish I could work out that long. I generally only last about 20 minutes cardio and maybe 30-40 minutes of weightlifting. Edit: And that's on a good day, lol.

I've got this problem of sleeping too much - having too much free time in the morning, getting up regularly at 11AM feeling not hungry. (I go to sleep at around 1AM, last meal usually around 22-23PM). I think it would definitely help to set some goals in the morning, get up earlier, eat a breakfast as soon as I'm able to and then eat regularly the whole day. Thoughts? I think 8 hours of sleep is fine. My problem is i wake up at 11am and i always feel hungry but i hate cooking, especially when i wake up so i end up eating a shitty breakfast from the cabinet instead of some nice eggs or w/e.

I burned 230 calories yesterday playing it for about 20 minutes (until my legs are sore or I start sweating badly). I burned 250 calories today playing it for about 20 minutes again. After the game, I shower and chill again. I've been following the NFL playoffs this weekend, so I relax and watch those afterwards. During half-time, I start the "hundred pushups" or "two hundred crunches" challenge (see the Hundred Pushups Challenge thread in General). I'm already feeling better about myself. I gotta keep this up though!

"The first time you quit, it's hard. The second time, it gets easier. The third time, you don't even have to think about it." That "just one" time that you skip it could lead to an end of the entire ordeal. Fight off "just that one" time for as long as you can.

Wide grip lat pulldown Bench press Triceps extension Standing barbell curl Smith machine shoulder press Leg Press He had me do 4 sets of 12 for each except the leg press (4x10) on light weights to build muscle endurance. I guess it's a good thing that I was totally honest with him and told him I was a bit of a newb at this. I'm gonna be doing lifting during Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays after work, and boxing on Sundays. Looking forward to it! Funny thing, there was a tin on the counter that I recognized as a Boomslang container. I asked my trainer about it and he told me that he uses a Copperhead now. Turns out that the guy is pretty hardcore when it comes to Q3/UT. Pretty cool.

Completely balanced and healthy meals throughout the day, I prepared last night and took to work. Hit the gym after work. 40 min of weights and about 30 min of Cardio. For even extra incentive I made a wager with a few of the guys at work, we all weighed ourselves recorded it. Everyone is placing in $100, whoever loses the most weight by the end of March wins the pot. I have by far the least amount of weight to lose, so it will definitely be a challenge since they are pretty competitive. I need to lose 15-17LB I think. Doubt I'll do it, I'm just going to sabotage them. Just going for a jog after work tomorrow and hitting the gym again on Wednesday. It's basically going to be: Monday - Weights(Chest)/Cardio Tuesday - Jog Wednesday - Weights(Legs) Thursday - Jog/Off (Depending on mood) Friday - Weights (Arms/Back) Saturday - HIIT/Core Sunday - Rest Rinse and Repeat. @ The dude DDR Exercising, WTG!

That's some sweet motivation there, potential to win a couple hundred is always nice ![]() Yesterday I made the mistake of holding to my routine despite exceptional circumstances, when I easily could have put it off a few hours. Ended up running at 1pm in 33~ degree heat (Celsius) and my time was significantly affected plus I could only run about 3/4 of what I normally do. Taking JeeJee's advice on board and considering today was even hotter than yesterday I spent the afternoon at the beach instead of running ![]() Loving summer!
