I don't think red is completely off the table here considering how wild the rulings sometimes are and how clumsy the initial move is by Messi, but I do think this is probably the more sane decision unless there's clear malice involved in the tackle. On this one I'm not sure, he's definitely looking at the feet, but it's a scramble and the reaction seems pretty genuine once he connects with the studs. | ||

Not a sparkling performance but pretty thoroughly dispatched a decent Croatia, probably more a 5-1 on balance than a 4-2 Thought Bellingham had a pretty good all-round game which bodes well | ||
