The Premier League said if it hits another part of the body first then the player had no time to react (the middle condition) and it probably wasn't deliberately handled so no penalty should be given. I guess the VAR decided based on arm position and thought it was unnatural enough that the other conditions weren't important. I don't know though. I didn't think it was a penalty, and the VAR was stood down so seemingly UEFA didn't think so either. | ||

So funny how saliba and tomiyasu are two of the 3 best players and both were disregarded by arteta at one point. Gotta give huge props to people behind the scenes who made sure both stay at the club | ||
