I tried sampling a few of the later goals France scored and they kind of had brief hugging huddle and went on. Meanwhile US had celebrations like this somewhere around 10-0.
We can argue whether the French stuff was excessive, but the ones I saw were still quite a bit away from the US celebration levels.

I really hope it was just a Nagelsmann experiment (although he shouldn't experiment this close to the cup) Sane isn't a defender and his side was wide open for the first two goals. The penalty was bonkers, like so many penalties these days. Basically a forward shouldn't try to score but should try to hit arms and elbows these days. Alright, that's the qualifiers over. Hope Ukraine, Poland and Greece can make it from the playoffs so we don't have some walkover team in the Euros. I was concerned about us only making Pot 3 only because of drawing France, but the difference between Pot 2 and Pot 3 isn't that great. It will be a big deal which country you draw from Pot 4 though...
