I guess I'll have a slight caveat that if Bayern gets 80 points but fails to win anyway, then I don't think the foundation of your prediction looks quite as good, as I have the impression it's based around you thinking Tuchel is gonna do a poor job. ![]() But Bundesliga very rarely sees even one team above 80 points and I don't think there have ever been two. Imo Bayern is more likely to win the CL than they are to lose Bundesliga. (Something like 90% chance of winning Bundesliga and 15+% chance of winning CL) 18/19 was the close battle between Bayern (78) and Dortmund (76) and 15/16 was the most points in recent history with Bayern (88) and Dortmund (78) Other than that it's usually just Bayern having 80+ points and winning Bundesliga 6-8 game days before the end

Because as you say I am betting on Tuchel doing a bad job and not Leverkusen just being better than them ![]()

Awful news is that Liverpool played their worst game of the season tonight. Holy that was bad.

I wouldn’t say it’s stupidity, a bit of loyalty is refreshing in this day and age. Plus it wasn’t entirely his call. When he initially wanted to leave Levy wouldn’t sell him to Man City for anything other than a price that even City wouldn’t countenance. I mean people, not you necessarily, seem to want it both ways, bemoan football being the preserve of an increasingly small cadre of clubs who can realistically hope to win things, but also mocking players for not winning trophies or accusing them of lacking ambition. Bayern seems a great fit for him, it seems unlikely he’ll not win a few things. He became Spurs’ top goalscorer, and hell he might have time to play a few seasons in the PL still and break Shearer’s. I think when all is said and done he’ll still be primarily regarded for his Spurs exploits, or England, especially if he and they have another excellent tournament, then he will for potentially winning a few Bundesligas at a club who hoovers them up

And tbh he should even be a ballon dor contender if he keeps this up. He has 17 goals and 5 assists in his first 10 bundesliga games, while also maintaining a 1.5 g/a per game for CL and the EC qualifier. It’s very strange that with the proviso they keep up ridiculous form for another year, the Ballon D’Or would be a lock for an English 1-2 with Bellingham and Kane

Haaland is gonna have to do something super special with City to win it next year as he is gonna have to win league and champs league and score 50 goals due to he can't do anything with his national side. Same with Mbappe. He could turn up for France and they win it and he is gonna be strong favourite to win it.
