Oh and loses 0-4 against Goretzka playing centre back LMAO
He’s done a pretty solid job thus far, they’re not terribly placed in the league, they’re just off beating Newcastle in Europe
Terrible result obviously but there is quite the gap between the two sides if Bayern are firing
If you watched their games you would say otherwise. Almost all games were decided by brilliant Brandt. They are on even footing with most midtable teams, brandt has just been the difference. Too little for a big club like Dortmund

As big as they are they’re losing a player of the calibre of a Haaland or Bellingham every year, or a Sancho plus other good players to boot
Difficult to keep that up season after season, a bad transfer window and they’ll regress. I don’t think their coach is doing amazingly, but not terribly either
I'm still too lazy and embarrassed to quoTe myself, bUt I think I should mention that I probably Could quote myself without feeling embarrassed.I feel like I sHould lEt our new AI OverLords do the talking.

Stuttgart two league games without Guirassy, two missed penalties, two lost games. Lets hope he is back for the game against Dortmund on Saturday.
Love the beef between Matthäus and the one that shall not be named lol
Not sure how the hell we managed to screw this one up that badly. Nunez continues to miss sitters that's costing us points, and I'm not sure what the hell our defense was doing on that counter attack where we only had 1 man back... Elliot decided to make a rash failed tackle that left our defense out to dry on the set piece.

Dont know why Klopp keeps refusing to play Endo
I don't know either. Endo has been fine. I guess because Endo is a bit on the slower side and against a more fast paced premier league, he doesnt want him as a starter. But then... what was the reason to sign him?
On November 07 2023 04:17 Pandemona wrote: Because Klopp saw Macalister play duel 6 at Brighton alongside Caciedo and thinks he can do it on his own with Liverpool!
Should be Endo x Macalister together and then put one of Gravenberch or Szbolsai in front.
Except Caicedo was clearly the destroyer of the pairing and Macca was given the freedom to move forward. Klopp knew this, or should have known this.
I think in a double pivot, I'd be happy with a Macca/Jones pairing or Macca/Endo pairing with Szobo or Gravy ahead of them. I think Macca/Jones/Szobo is better suited than Macca/Gravy/Szobo because Jones is more of a ball retention midfielder compared to Gravy who wants to move forward constantly. If you want to play Gravy, you play him as a 10 with Endo/Macca or Macca/Jones behind him. If we went with that style, Gravy/Szobo are your alternating 10s with the double pivot featuring 2 out of Endo/Macca/Jones. Elliot gets shifted over to a more traditional RW instead of RCM now too. Imo, if we don't sign a true 6 in Jan or next year, this is how Klopp should change his tactics. The 6 in his system is the hardest position to play.
Also holy god the Spurs team just got completely decimated. Romero 2nd red of the season out for 4 games, Maddison and VDV both leaving with injuries. RIP Spurs with a tough stretch coming up.
Yeah thats what i mean, Macalister clearly needs a runner alongside him to the defensive work, he clearly can play and we all seen it, just let him do it with a runner. Jones like u say is perfect or Endo.
Also holy fuck this spurs game is hilarious, i fucking love playing vs spurs xd

Edit because signature, but it's the wrong one:
Edit2 because polite: Sorry, did not mean to hijack this thread. Leverkusen will win the Bundesliga, T U C H E L will destroy the bald fraud and some other stuff, too.
Edit3: at 11pm and 22 minutes, Berlin time, I will reveal it, BUT this one is worth the effort, 100% promised. I figured something out because I'm like Jar Jar Binks and do very relevant things by pure accident. Also, I'm in bronze…
Fake Edit: Check my profile, final hint. Hayden Christiansen looks like a younger version of him.

Oh and Romero is a twat !!
Well that certainly was a game and a half. Honestly as a neutral/hater of both teams, this game couldn't have gone any better for me. Spurs get their karmic justice for our game, and Chelsea still somehow looked bad with a 9v11.
Romero is an idiot. Out for 4 games now (3+1 additional for 2nd red). Spurs are toast with half their best starters gone.

No, but he should've been sent off 10 minutes earlier for kicking at a Chelsea player.
No, red was not harsh. If Curtis Jones' red against Spurs was a red, this was even worse. You can't just go through a player even after you get the ball. That's not how it works, otherwise, a GK could just go for a clearance/punch out from a corner, and in his follow through, try to deck someone with the argument that the ball is gone, so who cares.

Getting the ball doesn't prevent a red card for endangering an opponent. Romero went studs first and with force. Should always see red for that.

No comments on the CL games? We are losing to a cricket thread :D
Watching Real Madrid vs Braga and a fun game so far. Braga missing a penalty that could have put them ahead was terrible.
Real's goal was born out of an amazing pass and they are now in control after some 20 mins of a balanced game.
Earlier today real sociedad Benfica could have been a massacre but ended up with a normal scoreline in the end (2 disallowed goals and a missed penalty plus 3 goals in the first 25 mins).

I'm too dumbfounded by the Copenhagen - ManU first half to even comment on it. That was an emotional rollercoaster
