What Uli wants to happen at Bayern will happen. He actually wanted to retire and hoped Kahn would take over. Once he saw how Kahn was destroying his Bayern Uli returned and also decides the funds for the new players. Rummenige prolly also has a big say but other than that no one has any say

But do they care? How important is the DFB cup for Bayern? Top English teams have a history of not caring at all about the league cup, while the FA up has been considered slightly more important, while the second best teams care more because that's their best chance for a trophy.. I'm asking more than making a statement, here.
True that, but I guess they are all tired/ overplayed. The CL game vs Galatasaray was the same thing really. Next is Dortmund in league and then midweek Galatasaray again. If they lose both, Tuchel isn't safe anymore.
The general goal in Bayern is to win the treble every year. I think Bayern has this mentality more so than any other club in Europe.

I guess as it’s the rare league where a club is both dominant enough domestically, as well as elite level enough in Europe for that to be a realistic goal rather than an aspiration.
Even then I imagine most will be happy enough with a league and conquering Europe again.
Tuchel is gambling somewhat, and if deliberately running a small squad costs them, it’s very obvious to an outside observer. On the flip side running a bloated squad also brings its own problems, and managing the morale of backups, giving minutes while maintaining continuity etc. But to an outside observer that’s much less obvious a factor in a club’s success or lack thereof.
I can only think he’s been somewhat shaped by his experiences at the latter end of his Chelsea reign, but proof will be in the pudding as we say over here.
As big as it seems, a Manchester City’s squad isn’t as deep as it seems, they’ve a few areas where they rotate top players in and out, and a few where most of their reserves are very promising young talent who don’t mind playing second fiddle and gaining experience under a coach like Pep. To take one example
At the flip side Chelsea have a (IMO ridiculously) bloated squad, without that established core and it’s taken Poch time to even figure out what way to use them and what his strongest team even looks like.
There are perils in both directions, but I feel one gets criticised more for choosing one over the other

It's not the loan that surprised me, it's the obligation to buy. Surely he's worth holding onto?
He is from Newcastle, we wanted to keep him, he refused to sign new deal, Newcastle came in with obligation of £30/35 million i think and club just cashed in there and then.
What made me a bit upset last night was, for us he couldn't score for toffee, missed so many chances, got into great positions, one on one with keeper and BOOM missed xD....for Newcastle scored a stunner haha.
Still guy is gonna be a great left back, has so much composure on the ball, a bit of pace and a good eye for a pass. Played as a 6 for the youth team, but plays left back now.
Boca Jrs vs FLuminense... Today arround 300 fluminense fans attacked boca fans at the beach where they were gathered... word on the streets say that "La Doce" (aka Boca jrs' ultras) arrive tomorrow to brazil and are looking for vengance against Fluminense ultras...

Makes sense. Not much more you could have done then.
I see big things ahead for him. Dan Burn won't be the starting left back for Newcastle forever
Exactly, good business from Newcastle, but he does need to play more, think that was his first start since his move, needs get some more minutes to help develop and he has great potential.

Newcastle did some weird business in the summer, feels they were future planning for the full back positions a season before they would potentially be established as a consistent CL challenging club.
It’s good to have depth but they’ve obtained backup/successors for two of the areas they’re very strong in already
True, bought the other chelsea youth product Livramento for right back lol. He was fantastic until his ACL at Southampton too, we got some nice money from that iirc for sell on clause.

But both will need to play!
They’re both quality prospects IMO but they feel the kind of signings a really established elite club like City would make for the future, but Newcastle have barely arrived in the present if that makes sense.
I really hope Dortmund will fire their coach. Decided against buying a good midfielder in summer, subs out their best player and best in-form player Brandt and lets Reus play
Oh and loses 0-4 against Goretzka playing centre back LMAO

He’s done a pretty solid job thus far, they’re not terribly placed in the league, they’re just off beating Newcastle in Europe
Terrible result obviously but there is quite the gap between the two sides if Bayern are firing

And somehow Neverkusen are still top
Because they only miss 2 points from their draw with bayern while bayern drew a second time. This is why the game against Dortmund (Klassiker) is a bit over valued this year in my opinion. Clearly, the bvb is not a serious title contender.
