Everything about the English performance this euro feels wrong. Most of all the fact that they are still in the running.

That said I don’t really think they’ve been particularly the worse team in these matches so far, judged purely on the matches themselves. Shaded Serbia, two I felt were 50/50 and the only loser in the Slovenia game were any of the folks unfortunate enough to watch that game 5th time lucky where they might actually play a good match coming up eh?

I wouldnt bet anything on England playing good for once. They showed weakness against Slovakia especially in the defence. It took two lucky punches to beat them. They played way better bring up 2:1 but even then, top teams would capitalize againdt that defence, not how Slovakia fumbled their chances.

They have a good gk and they are playing their hearts out and doing the best they can with what they have and I totally respect that, but this is an approach that gives an inferior team a small chance at victory as opposed to no chance at victory, it is not a valid approach for a top team

I'm not at all a champion of possession based football but Georgia has been completely dominated and they are very fortunate. 15 minutes in im not sure they had three completed passes in a row. And I'm not defeding Southgate here. I'm just saying 'how georgia plays' isnt something top teams should be inspired by. The attitude, sure, but the tactics are necessitated by the ability.
