But seriously, leaving out Grealish is fine. Looking at the squad, they look light on DMs, not attackers. Bellingham and Mainoo are attackers in my book, Gallagher is box to box, so that leaves Rice and Wharton? They'll run over the weaker teams but will have difficulties against an overloaded midfield like classic Spain. | ||

Bellingham and Mainoo are more forward-thinking yes but they also can defend if they have to. Especially Bellingham has been moved further back at Real 2nd half of the season | ||

Same with Gallagher. I don't know enough about Wharton, but I'd imagine it's the same. I don't think the squad is short of anything in midfield. | ||
