Aw man Kane fucking botched that QQ. Pretty lively half so far. Probably absolutely unclear given my past posts but I am rooting for the English in this one.

English fans. And I’m being technically accurate! Gentlemans! Didn't this stuff come from them? It’s the opposite of (typically) Americans calling all of the UK England, in this case it is actually specifically England but they’re being called British. Just tickled me is all! I wouldn’t say the rest of the U.K, or Ireland are saints exactly but our sports fans tend to not do this kind of shite. I meant the gentlemanship stuff Welcome to why the other constituent parts of the U.K. don’t like the English haha. You folks in mainland Europe think you don’t like the boorish arrogance of the English? At least in a relatively jovial fashion when it comes to sport etc. I haven't worked with many Brits so can't tell much about English. I worked with a Welsh Royal Navy veteran(he was at the Falkland campaign) and he was very nice. But then again, he wasn't English I worked mostly with 'murricans and Chinese, some Sweds(?) and Russians.

pretty even first half, neither team being brilliant so far.

Intense game. Not likely to explode in a lot of goals, but tension is gonna keep increasing.

England looked marginally more incisive but it’s really evenly poised, think it’ll be settled by thin margins or whichever manager can change it up better tactically or with substitutions.

Not a Pickford fan but that was a very good safe.

So Kane looks like he's OK but apparently Calvert Lewin isn't on the bench?!? Surely that's his replacement in case of injury?

I can't believe Timo Werner won a UCL, if he wasn't german he would be playing tier 3 teams no doubt.

My girlfriend is being brutal to England, saying they play boring and comparing there play style to Norway

He was absolutely dominating when playing for Leipzig. Just since his move he can't hit a barn door

France looked like they didnt even care for the euro, i mean, they didnt even looked all that sad for losing it.
its kinda sad, but after a world cup, its hard to be excited for this i guess? they are probably thinking a lot more in 2022
