Tried to shot from every angle while passing would have clearly the better option. So many attacks from France after the 3:1 ended with Coman on his ego trip You really should watch the game again. He did once, otherwise with his dribble and pacing he was with Pogba the only player who could create danger and he did pretty well. He was so close of giving the win... It's quite telling he isn't too much pointed out despite his behavior, everyone, the press and the fans are okay with his perf. Overall deschamps is the main responsible, not doing remplacement while the team is exhausted and getting in difficulties in the first half in 3 matchs in a row was too much. And not taking Laporte for god sake, Lenglet wasn't good with the barca and didn't do well here while Kante just seemed ineffective, completely burned by his season.

After PSG in the Euros too. I'm really happy France are out, although like others have said, the competition will miss the quality they provide when they're at it. Now come on England!

Sucks that he missed the penalty, of course. But nothing about his performance indicates that he's overhyped or in bad shape. One of the 'moments of the tourney' for me was the outpacing of Hummels - that was downright hilarious.

Hope as most of my predictions have been absolutely awful. In a sense teams full of absolute elite players who are exhausted against teams full of good players and maybe the occasional star who are a good bit fresher, it seems to level things a good bit.

Very disappointing. Hopefully we manage to go get a third star in WC 2022. Euro 2016 was a big bummer but that allowed us to win 2018, so maybe the same could happen again...

Before yesterday happened, I was on top of my betting group. Unfortunately for me there are some crazy people in it who actually did bet on a draw :/ On June 29 2021 22:27 Poopi wrote: Yeah I think having a team full of "stars" / good players from regular teams can be a double edged sword with the extended season. But this alone can't explain what happened in the first half / how our defense managed to allow a 2 goals comeback in the last 10 minutes... Very disappointing. Hopefully we manage to go get a third star in WC 2022. Euro 2016 was a big bummer but that allowed us to win 2018, so maybe the same could happen again... 2022 will be a whole different beast since it's in winter. Nobody know what will happen there

Frank de Boer resigned as coach for the Dutch national team. Don't think there was really any other option. His coaching career is over I think since this is his 4th failure in a row. I'm curious who will be our next coach. There aren't many good options which is why we got De Boer in the first place.

Surely it must be tired after all that traveling... just years of being away from home... soooo long time away... from home... it's hard not to think that maybe it has moved to a different home by now? :D
