https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/30362714/source-serge-ibaka-plans-sign-2-year-19m-deal-la-clippers we are in the legit FA signing period.... the story broke yesterday.. and he still just PLANS to sign? huh? what? Given Ibaka's performance the last two years I suspect he and his agent are angling for more money from someone, somewhere. Look at his production. Its not like he is asking for a 10 year deal. damn. The guy was a fucking beast the last two years.

I know from reading a bunch of articles about the Raps and Salary cap situation that they thought was they would try to resign FVV and try to get guys like Ibaka and maybe gasol on 1 year deals, perhaps a overpay on one year. So maybe they offered Ibaka something like 12 for 1 and he would rather have the security and a better chance to win? I'm with you though, he seems well worth 9 per, they must really think they have a shot at the greek freak next year.

i'd say the Bucks and Clippers have been giving up too much to retain/sign top players.

Lakers starters: KCP, Wes Matthews, Lebron, AD, Gasol Bench unit: Schroeder, Caruso, Kuz, Harrell, Keef (THT 3rd string) Playoff death lineup (Small): KCP, Wes Matthews, Caruso, Lebron, AD Playoff death lineup (Big): KCP, Wes Matthews, Lebron, AD, Keef/Harrell I'm so hyped to repeat. Lakers got better, the only real teams that got better this off season were the 76ers and Heat. No other team really got better in the West except the Blazers but Lakers aren't worried about them. Clippers: -Harrell, JaMychal Green +Ibaka Nuggets: -Grant, Plumlee, Craig +JaMychal Green Rockets: LOL

i guess the Raptors didn't want him.. they could've given him a one year deal for more than that money... instead they put their money into Chris Boucher. hmmm.....

Here are Gasol's parting words... Over the years, I really like how Masai Ujiri has assembled a team of first class human beings. It makes it easy to cheer for them.

Very lowkey, no drama team besides the Kawhi thing which wasn't even their fault. They got their ring, they're a great team, and Canada is proud to have them.
