Can pundits stop saying the phrase 'He hasn't won anything' when talking about Poch. Spurs were nowhere near even having a chance of winning anything beofre he took over the fact that he has improved them to the point where they made a Champions League final just shows how good he is. 'He hasn't won anything' is pointless poor journalism.

tottenham are only saying that they wont spend in this window only im pretty sure? i dont think anyone would have expected differently though.
levy would obviously have asked for champions league football with the current team and promised transfers in the summer window.
mou either gets champions league and becomes a hero or he doesnt and he gets to blame a transferless january window, squad in poor form and morale and a starting league position that was too low to begin with.
then he gets a summer transfer window but doesnt get the players he wants and cant hold on to the players he has and after a lackluster 20-21 season mou is gone. lol

Arsenal and Yanited look poor. I would say Mourinho had a good chance of top 4 if it wasnt for Leicester looking pretty hot this season. Leicester are nailed on top 4 for me and the Chelsea kids are really coming through too. I don't think there's much of a chance of top 4 for Spurs. 11 points behind teams looking better than them.

Wow City are fourth now? When did that happen. They are still streaks ahead of everyone but Liverpool even if results have gone against them and they have some defensive problems.

edit: Oh we get Man City vs Chelsea this weekend too! I ignored football for a week because I'm too busy and it comes back more exciting than ever.

Top 4 is going to be tough. It's almost requiring some kind of slump or crisis in one of the current top 4. So far, City, Leicester and Chelsea have dropped roughly 10 points all season. And even if someone slumps bad enough, Spurs still have to beat Arsenal and United for the 4th position and that might not be completely trivial either.

He will get Bayern/Real/Yanited job he might wait out for one of them. He should defo take rest of season off though and take a job in the summer. Just to recharge and regain some hunger to go again just in case he has lost some.

I can easily see him going to Bayern after christmas, because he is guaranteed Champions League football and Bayern are to me still an 80% favorite to win the Bundesliga because everyone else is inconsistent. Which means he doesn't have to do particularly well in his first year in order to please the fans.

Any idea what Poch himself wants? Is he just going to accept the first big contract available or does he have some personal dream to be fulfilled? For me he's one of the harder managers to read in terms of ambition and personal preferences and all that.

Mane scores against Palace. Liverpool have been really lucky in this game so far. Palace scored a perfectly decent goal in the first half that VAR rulled out for the slightest of pushes a Liverpool defender not involved at all with the goal. Take home message. If your not involved with the play as a defender and another player even slitghtly touches you. You might as well dive and go down as it might help VAR chalk of any potential goal. Call me cynical, but that's not what VAR should be used for.

I agree with this call, Lovren is in prime position to head the ball if Wijnaldum doesn't get it and gets shoved out of the way. It might be a soft call for the premier league, but then again so was the foul for the freekick Palace got to create this set piece in the first place.
