Its not just the odd one anymore in the UK either. Racism is coming back in english stadiums.

The reason is that they don't have home-grown players for the Champions list, so they cannot put more than 22 names on the list and somebody had to be left out. Maybe Bentacour was a better choice than Emre Can but as forwards they have already Ronaldo Higuain Dybala Bernardeschi Douglas Costa plus Cuadrado that can play wide in the front 3 man.
They couldn't sell anyone except Cancelo and Kean and they bought De Ligt Ramsey Rabiot and Higuain is back from loan, so somebody had to be left out
btw, juvemerdasempre!

Khedira instead of can? Thats bollocks

Any chance that there are some contract clauses and such that force Sarri and Juventus to organize things in a certain way? As far as I can tell, there's some homegrown requirement that explains presence of some of the Italian players in roster, but I wouldn't also be surprised if there are some individual contract clauses involved too.

Not to the level of Italy or Russia at all, the worse you get (which is bad i know there should be none) is one or two guys saying a bad word to someone directly close to pitch side they can here it. It isn't the whole stadium chanting monkey noises ffs or displaying a banner saying we don't want black players here..

Yeah the Italian disciplinary judge already declared this wasn't enough evidence that is was a racist incident and there will be no consequences. The Chelsea fan that was accused of insulting Sterling was banned.
Not only does Russia and Italy have a much bigger problem with racism, they also do absolutely nothing about it on the disciplinary side and the ultras openly come out and defend it. Everywhere else they would be shunned and banned

MILAN (AP) — The Italian league’s disciplinary judge says he needs more evidence before deciding if Cagliari should be punished for the racist chants aimed at Inter Milan forward Romelu Lukaku.
League judge Gerardo Mastrandrea did not even mention the word “racist” in his weekly report, referring only to “chants that were the subject of news articles and TV reports.”
Lukaku converted Inter’s winning penalty kick against Cagliari on Sunday and then glared at home fans behind the goal as they directed monkey chants at him.
Everton forward Moise Kean was also subject to racist abuse when he played against Cagliari for Juventus last season, as was Blaise Matuidi the year before.
The Italian league did not sanction Cagliari for either incident, nor did they do so when Sulley Muntari was abused by the same team’s fans in 2017.

Germany has such a bad team... And I can't see how it will become better in the near future.

Did you see the first half as well? Nld had more possession, but Germany could have been up 3-0 easily at half time...

Germany has the potential to have a monster team that could crush every game. They are just stuck with Low. Until that changes that team will keep underperforming badly.

Germany is making the same mistake that Spain with Del Bosque. He continued and Spain had a bad Worldcup and Eurocup.
Sucesfull coaches at national level have problems for making big changes in the team.

It's the big changes that Löw made that are the problem for Germany... He decided to stop playing the good older ones and thats the problem

There's definitely a few problems with who's in the squad as well as some strangeness from Löw. Tah yesterday was a total disaster, doesn't seem to have what it takes for this level of competition and shouldn't have stayed on for the entire game. Ginter is hardly amazing this season either. In general our defense just had a lot of problems trying to get the ball away from our goal, which just gifted the Netherlands 2 extra goals at the end (let alone the absolute amateur hour defending that lead to their first 2 goals). Then Kimmich has to play in midfield where he just falls off compared to when he's on right back simply because Löw decided he has no good alternatives to put next to Kroos.
Offensively, you could just see that Sané would have been sorely needed and that his injury just hurts us a ton. The most dangerous situations offensively for Germany came from abusing speed advantage against the back 4. Then Werner would have been a fast-paced option from the bench late in the game instead of playing the first half as a complete and total non-factor. To boot, Löw's system doesn't have a spot for Kai Havertz, one of the biggest talents in German football.

And he *still* insists on Neuer over Terstegen.

This baffles me so much as well, he even came out and said he will always have neuer as no1 that is so stupid. Ter Stegen is so good right now and arguable the best keeper in the world right now. Neuer is not near that level since his injuries.

Playing Neuer over Ter Stegen isn't losing us games. People underestimate Neuer's level too, he's recovered a lot of form. Not to mention, Ter Stegen has actually played like ass pretty much every time he's played for the German national team. So much worse than for Barcelona where he's pretty much the team's 2nd Messi. I have no idea how or why.

Yeah for sure Neuer isn't losing games for Germany but it is the underlining problem of Low right being a guy who is not changing his ways at all. He has stayed stagnant in that job for far too long and in reality won the world cup with by far the best squad in said World Cup at the time.
I would love to see someone else and some different ideas for Germany to take over. I mean not taking Sane to the Euros last time out was completely fucked up, guy is not right xD
|
Oh don't get me wrong, I believe Löw should have stepped down 2014 after winning the World Cup. At that point he basically peaked and proved all his critics wrong. After getting top 3 in every tournament for such a long time and still always being criticized by the general public because that just wasn't good enough. Staying after that tournament was a mistake.
And still that was our first home loss in a qualifying match since 2007. So not everything he does is bad even now. I'm okay with him staying until someone better is available. Klopp, Tuchel, Nagelsmann, the best German coaches simply all aren't available now.

What about if Jupp comes out of retirement for the 100th time for an international job? But i agree at the moment who takes that job off him..
