The way Mane got a yellow was quite hilarious indeed, he gets fouled, gets up, retaliates, get a deserved yellow but then opponent gets freekick and no yellow xD Ref was shocking that is for sure, but still pointless game done and Scouse win the world title... xD | ||

Pointless game perhaps but they were literally sweating until Jorge Jesus failed. And wait, that was a DRAW in normal time against their full power. For playing against Liverpool (considering PL standards) that's not bad. Shocking was what Real Madrid got the past editions. Offside goals, penalties their way only, referee pretending not to know who fouled when he was about to book someone (Ramos) who was already on a yellow. Now that's shocking. | ||

Anyways, the first decision was ok too. he gives penalty and yellow. pretty standard. if he changed his mind and considered there was a foul outside the area he would give Rafinha a red card. | ||

If he thought there was no contact = dive = yellow card for Mane. Also for triple punishment/yellow rule to apply there needs to be an attempt to play the ball, hard to argue for such an obvious professional foul situation, but not impossible I guess | ||
