Just thought it was interesting that he finally confirmed the Nebraska rumors because his style was the closest to Osborne’s and a lot of Nebraska fans had expressed interest in him in the past I read that somewhere these past few days. What you will find as a common refrain was that the administration royally screwed the program firing Solich before having a viable replacement. A lot of the blame falls on Eichorst and Perlman for getting subpar coaches to come to Nebraska. We had Pelini but he couldn't get over the hump (Nebraska has the most impatient fans) so they went with Riley and now we're completely rebuilding with Frost. I wouldn't be opposed to Johnson coming to Nebraska after Frost has his time and can't get it turned around. But I think Frost can get it fixed. It's just a time thing.

NFL clubs were informed Tuesday that a private workout will be held for free agent Colin Kaepernick on Saturday in Atlanta, per Adam Schefter. The NFL arranged this workout opportunity for Kaepernick, and teams will have the opportunity to evaluate his readiness and level of interest in resuming his NFL career. Per ESPN.

Vick had some amazing seasons, but the rushing risk makes everything harder on the defense (and that is hard to project into the NFL). Rushers can't rush as well, DBs get caught in no man's land, etc. Its a cheat code, everybody knows that.
