Frankfurt is a very strong team. id put that tie at 55-45 in favour of Chelsea. But losing to frankfurt would hardly be fucking up. They are one of the most inform teams of 2019 in all of Europe

Valencia is looking good right now too. The first half of the season they weren't able to score goals, so they drew most matches, it is almost a draw record in la Liga.

But these last months in addition to defending well they are scoring again. They are fighting for the #4 spot with Sevilla and Getafe after being in the bottom half of the table in the first half of the season.

I still think probably Chelsea is the favourite but the other three teams have a chance too.

Chelsea are a bit of a weird team this year. Very hot or cold. I think Frankfurt can definitely come out on top.

If we do get a Chelsea vs Arsenal Europa final I hope both teams fail to make top 4 just to add that extra bit of spice to the game. That's pretty unlikely though.

Wasn't something like this the case when Chelsea won the UCL while finishing somewhere below top 4? If I remember correctly, Spurs ended up finishing 4th and got the worst end of that mess.

Not sure if that actually happened though, when we won it i think it was 5 teams into the champs league fine, not sure though i forget

I just know that now they said maximum of 5 teams from one league in the competition with Europa Winners and Champs Winners getting pref treatment.

Yeh there was, when Chelsea won and failed to qualify they introduced the direct berth for winners and because they had to fuck over spurs they increased max teams from one country to five. However they didn't increase this to six when they added the direct berth for the EL winner, intentionally.

Nah it was 4 teams per country when you won, because no one expected the winning team to fail this badly and it was too late to change the general seedings. So they just decided to fuck over spurs because no one cares anyway, they changed it to 5 the year after.

City - Spurs round 3 should be interesting today. By all rules of professionalism, City should have recovered and shows up determined to retain the lead in PL title race, but the mental stuff can be weird sometimes. I guess it's a bit of a leadership test to Guardiola to stop the bleeding and get back on track right away.

As expected this City and Spurs game is very poor quality and lacks spark due to both sets of players very tired. For once its hot in England to we have a "heatwave" of 22 ish degrees which for us is hot

You dont think they have a chance of dropping points the rest of their run ?

City have:

United - Not that good, but have quality to hurt good teams. Have done it also - Chasing 4th

Burnley - nothing to play for but a dangerous team, also been a bit of a bogey for City recently

Leicester - Another one with nothing to play for but good enough to steal points against anyone

Brighton - In a relegation battle have shown the ability to steal points

Watford - Same as above

Liverpool have:

Cardiff- Also playing to stay alive but they are just so bad. Unlike Brighton they are terrible against big teams.

Huddersfield - Rock bottom they are as good as gone.

Newcastle - nothing to play for, have quality to hurt.

Wolves - Nothing to play for probably either but have quality. Do well against big teams.

Nope, all comfortable games for City now with good amount of breaks in between. Yanited are shot and look worst than under Mourinho because they don't even bother to defend now lol. Then they have Leicester, Burnely & Brighton after that which is easy pickings for them.

I wouldnt call any of those games "easy pickings" all of those would be relatively hard earned wins.

The only "gimmes" that I can see for either team are the 2 games for Liverpool against Cardiff and Huddersfield.

How is Cardiff a gimme over Burnley and Leicester who have nothing to play for? Cardiff are only 3 points from safety with one game less than Southampton but the same amount as Brighton. However it is also in the same breath not over for Brighton but City just do not look like losing to those kinda teams, but in fairness nor do Liverpool but if Cardiff go 1-0 down they will fight more than if West Ham or Leicester do as those players are all in holiday mode.
