Mou is an asshole, but he wasn't wrong about this squad. I hope Ole gets the power and time to reshape this squad to become legit contenders.

The historic CL comeback was all on PSG or have you forgotten when they won against Barca 4-0 and totally chocked afterwards?

Honestly that I don't get either. It just feels like the players just can't be bothered anymore since Ole got the job. It's so lethargic. They were riding a wave since the Mourinho sacking and just can't seem to bring it back since a couple losses.

It's not about deserving or not, it's about the wrong perception it gave about MU's level afterwards. They won 3-1 playing bad, but they celebrated it as if they won it on certain qualities (courage or whatever) that they actually don't have.
I said it when they confirmed Ole that it was a mistake to rush it, oh well. Now they at least need to give him a summer transfer window to try and show he can do it, but they're really going to need miracles signings, in and out, especially if they miss the CL.

Given this mornings events so far the odds I was basing my chances off seemed to have been quite off,,, surely they cant be this bad next week

Issue is as well that game is midweek this wednesday so in 72 hours time.
Also how on earth is Arsenal losing at home to Palace! Oh 1-1 immediate response, Ozil with the goal.

Wijnaldum doesn't score too often, but almost every goal he scores is somehow vital. He has secured at least one top 4 finish and one 1-0 vs City with his goals on previous seasons. That's kind of impressive considering he has scored maybe 10 altogether over the last 3 seasons.

Arsenal doing Arsenal and losing 3-1 at home, with the best home record in Europe s top leagues or something i read. Classic.

Lmao Arsenal losing as well, no one wants top four.
Also Arsenal are the weirdest team ever, play like crap away for months and suddenly keep 3 clean sheets in a row. You would expect them to beat Palace comfortable and somehow they concede 3.
|
well if you look at Arsenal's lineups the results are not weird at all
Today's lineup was just harakiri

United overperformed for a few months on expected goals and everyone loses their mind. In a league format form isn't that important in the long run and you usually don't overperform that long, then shit hit the fan. OGS United has not been way better than Mou's at any point. Just luckier/more realistic in front of old/DDG saving the day.

I have to say that Benzema has surprised me this year. He is the only Real Madrid player that has improved and is playing better than last season. And one of the few players with a good season in the team.

the psg game was a single game where they were really lucky. Good, too, but lucky. It was irrelevant. But setting a new team record (and this is manchester united) for most away wins in a row, going 14-2-1 in their first 17 games, following a 6-6-5 record in the previous 17 games before that (and it wasn't just luck, the overall performance during this period was vastly improved too), that is very significant. Maybe it was just the team pulling themselves together to show off to the new manager (and show disdain for mou), maybe ogs doesn't have what it takes, but like.. the improvement was massive and immediate - maybe the fact that it was so immediate should have been a tipoff that ogs didn't actually 'do' much though.

What the fuck was today's results even

Looks like Chelsea and Burnley decided to keep the PL madness going. 2-2 already and less than 30 mins played.

Haha yeah, Chelsea season summed up in this game. When we take our chances and score, we ship goals for fun as we are all over the place defensively xd
Well Burnley getting relegated next season so that will cheer me up after that awful game, when will Sarri fkn learn man jesus.
