Also, did the mexicans at least try and show some fighting spirit? After what the USA did for them four years ago, they better had.

Every country that has not qualified can only blame themselves and has to ask themselves if they really tried their hardest. Yea, our group was kinda hard ![]() Poland has higher seen then Furia Roja is also strange

but what makes it worse is that our youngsters are SO BAD we literally dont have a team up and coming, maybe if we mix and choose some players, but not like this one, not at all

Second spot should have been wrapped up for them if they played like they did last night every game in that group! They were very very good against Sweden last night but that was the only game of the whole group they turned up for it seemed. Nah it's all France fault for giving Sweden 2 points by this bullshit from Lloris https://streamable.com/rxk9g Our team and coach were absolutely perfect ![]() ![]()

TBH we dont know anything about NZ beside they must be a pshycal team but we feel super confident about the match. the 5th place was being celebrated as a direct classification to the WC. Yes! thos 3 points resurrected us in the qualifier, without them we were practically eliminated. ![]()

Only Di Maria and Messi were playing yesterday. Dybala doesnt get to play because he looks a bit lost when hes playing. Hes basically a Messi type player and you cant be Messi with Messi on the team. They have to figure that one out before the WC because hes to good not to play. Di Maria is ok, he can create space but he is woefully inconsistent. Higuain sucks when it matters period. Aguero was not available because of his Dutch incident. The attack yesterday was basically Messi and Di Maria playing by themselves while a bunch of jobbers in midfield passed the ball around aimlessly or passed it back to Ecuador. Most Argentina players are terrible and they don't have any technique with the ball. We have a phrase in Spain for how they touch the ball: "recibir un balón y devolver un ladrillo" (Receiving a ball and returning back a brick).

One of the most impressive and clutch games Messi has ever played imo.

Otamandei was fine, Masch was great, their defense is "okish" but any defense will struggle with that midfield infront of them. One of the most impressive and clutch games Messi has ever played imo. Outside of his 3 goals he hardly turned it on or ran. It seemed a deliberate tactic to conserve and explode at specific moments where they had space. Meanwhile some of the Ecuadorians had jets on their shoes. They were gliding past Argentines with relative ease at times, they just didnt have the polish of actual footballers. They were far superior athletes. I think atleast 5 Argentina players just took yellows for cynical body checks when they realized that there was no way they could keep up with some of the Ecudarian counter attacks.
