I gave up on trying to read too much into these 'almost there' transfers after the De Gea saga. He was one faxed contract away from being transferred to Real and now he has carried ManU for the last few seasons without any further talk about transfers.

This one Clearly did not watch game and looked at highlights This was one of those games where lesser teams may well have drawn. City literally hit the bar like what 3 times? And missed some sitters. While maintaining complete control of the game. What it says about football is that good teams can have unlucky/bad days. But great teams find a way to get wins out of those bad/unlucky days because they continuously craft oppurtunities. City never looked like losing the game. The scoreline is irrelevant unless NewCastle actually took one of those "chances" if you can call them that. All teams will have such days. But looking at their record these days are the exception not the rule. So what did you think it said about football? That having possession doesnt matter ? That how many passes you make doesnt matter? That how many good shots on goal you take doesnt matter? That how efficient your passing is doesnt matter? Go on say something stupid I'd like to see what you can come up with.

It doesnt matter that one guy on one team completed more passes than the rest of the other team. Got it. That was too easy. You can do stupider. Come on man, thats such low hanging fruit. Dont use the stupid on offer, I know you can exceed expectations. User was warned for this post

Gives me the impression that those teams are more busy with "hitting the wall" than with the competitiors. Simeone said in 2014/2015: There is no fun, La Liga is super boring. The only fun is winning games.
