What are they worried about? That someone else might swoop in if they wait. Why not just agree terms let him play out the season for Liverpool let him benefit them in the CL and secure a top 4. Thats what I would tell him if I was Liverpool, and I am sure they are. Then he gets his promised move in the summer. I really hope all this news is just leverage to negotiate a cheaper move for later. It doesnt make sense at all.

It's so tight almost everyone is still in it. But that was kind of the point I was making. Southampton have really slipped into the relegation fight and Palace at the moment have the momentum behind them to potentially get out of it. I'm sure West Brom fans are happy with the progress their club has made under Pardew. Getting rid of Pullis was a great idea. Seriously Pardew has them playing the most defensive football I have ever seen. They will never win a game like that even if they concede less. Moronic decision.

I really hope all this news is just leverage to negotiate a cheaper move for later. It doesnt make sense at all. The goober that is Ballague says "Barca president feels he owes it to Coutinho to get him in the winter because of what he has done to try force the move, plus the top senior players also want him now" But like you say Liverpool lose out majorly as they are down a big player for Champions league / top 4 race. However on the flipside Coutinho played 0 times during the last saga, scouse might have him go on "strike" again in the winter forcing a move which is just disruptive, he has also proven his worth to the Brazil national side and having a few months off before the world cup might be ok for them? xD On January 03 2018 23:31 haitike wrote: What do you think about the Alexis Sanchez to Manchester City deal. In Spain they are saying it is almost done (but Spanish newspapers are shit). Not been said in the English media, but no idea, i don't think Sanchez is going to be allowed to leave Arsenal this window, i think Wenger will keep him there thinking in his deluded mind he will sign a deal with Ozil very soon xD

I also find it unlikely that a team coached by Pardew, no matter how defensive it plays, will let in less goals than a team coached by Pullis.

Of course Stoke haven't actually changed manager yet. So maybe they are a bit different. Taking some thumpings recently.
