Prediction for the next season: They are gonna fire Gisdol after like 8 matches. Is Labbadia currently free? Or Slomka? Well looking at that list maybe we can warm you up to Roger Schmidt
It needs to be mentioned too, that a year ago Wolfsburg came very close to eliminating Real in the quarters of the CL. This collapse is just impressive.
e: also no one mentioned it yet, Millwall win playoffs and are promoted to the Championship, only one more league and Chelsea have to fight to be least likable London team again.

Am I misunderstanding something ? I hate HSV you don't need to warm me up to somebody I just hope whatever happens next season at HSV is gonna fail spectacularly. I'm teasing my friends for 3 years now with: "Next year you are visiting me when HSV plays in the Eintracht-Stadion. Our street where the stadium is built is even named after your city(Hamburger Straße)" Never happened so far
And yeah. Wolfsburgs downfall is impressive. I'm still not totally sure how that happened.

Also I say this every year, I am one of the very few outside of HSV fans that don't actually want them relegated for the simple reason that I actually like having at least one positive record in hte Bundesliga that is not owned by Bayern. Though them failing every year and then escaping with massive luck or refereeing bs is getting incredibly annoying

If HSV would do a 180 in comparison to the last say 5-7 years I would have no problem with them and I wouldn't wish them any ill will. But the way how they are managing the club, playing and managing to stay up... just annoying. Meh.
Anyways... all the results I rooted for today got smashed. My 2nd Club Magdeburg not getting into Relegation because of a last minute goal. HSV not reaching their season goal(position 16),Bremen not in the EL and Berlin fucking themselves over . I'm gonna take this collective pile of shit as a sign that we're gonna dub tomorrow as 'The Miracle at the Hamburger Straße' (Ausgleichende Gerechtigkeit). Or we continue the trend of this weekend and loose 0-8

Yup this is basically my opinion. I want them to do that 180 but at this point I don't think they will ever manage to do it without a complete restart in 2nd League.
PS: If Braunschweig manages to win the promotion I'm going to buy every TL'er, who I meet at a game, a beer or two. Be it a home game or an away game I'm travelling to

Our street where the stadium is built is even named after your city(Hamburger Straße)" Never happened so far And yeah. Wolfsburgs downfall is impressive. I'm still not totally sure how that happened. I wanted to annoy you by proposing Roger Schmidt as new coach, because I think he is very overrated and very fun to watch fail =) Also I say this every year, I am one of the very few outside of HSV fans that don't actually want them relegated for the simple reason that I actually like having at least one positive record in hte Bundesliga that is not owned by Bayern. Though them failing every year and then escaping with massive luck or refereeing bs is getting incredibly annoying Sure I agree with you. My problem is just: I can't stand these Chaosklubs you know? If HSV would do a 180 in comparison to the last say 5-7 years I would have no problem with them and I wouldn't wish them any ill will. But the way how they are managing the club, playing and managing to stay up... just annoying. Meh. Same here but I would love them to do that 180 while experiencing 2nd league. All that relegation-ref--draw-bullshit and kühne throwing money at that club which is never used in any constructive way is just too much. They belong into Bundesliga but at this point I couldn't be any more annoyed. Yup this is basically my opinion. I want them to do that 180 but at this point I don't think they will ever manage to do it without a complete restart in 2nd League. PS: If Braunschweig manages to win the promotion I'm going to buy every TL'er, who I meet at a game, a beer or two. Be it a home game or an away game I'm travelling to Do you also go to Braunschweig Lions (handegg) games? :D:D:D I would come for those. Eintracht surely won't get me to Braunschweig though^^ Sure! I'm living 5 mins away from the Stadion by foot I go there every morning for the Bahn to the Uni I just put it out there for the 1 or 2 in this thread who are maybe Ultras who are going to travel everywhere Just hit me up (even if we don't manage to get promoted) Edit: Tho I don't know why you would go to Braunschweig for American Football. We never lose in that sport Masochism, after all you to win title you have to quickly dispose of my birthplace inf the finals first. Funny enough I'm only an hour south and have been there a few times so if I ever get over my laziness and dislike of large crowds it's nice to know I'd at least get a beer out of it. Playing against Schwäbisch Hall is always... nice It's awesome, every year they get together a full fan train, sacrifice a full weekend because final has to be held in Berlin. Every time they have hope, that this year it might just be close enough again to at least compete and then they get utterly and completely destroyed again. Then again since they actually won it 6-7 years ago the town now finally has a reason to exist other than as namesake for the retarded fox.

Watching Mickey Mouse and then ads with "the retarded fox" was my childhood I didn't even know Schwäbisch Hall was a city and not just a bank until I moved to Braunschweig
Back to the real football: Wolfsburg has edited their ticket page since this morning. You are not allowed to wear clothes of away fans in anything other than the guest stands. I wonder why

Ugh one of these days the HSV will get relegated, and it's gonna be a blessing. Not because I dislike the club in and of itself, but because watching them escape by the skin of their teeth every year through sheer luck and in spite of their own incompetence - both on the field for most of the year and in management - is infuriating.
Maybe with Bruchhagen there is a chance the HSV finally, finally changes next season, makes a turnaround on and off the pitch. But the last few years leave you with little optimism.

Yeah little optimism. I had the exact same opinion when they got Didi but now? Nah. Nowadays I think they could get CR7/Messi in their prime and they would somehow fuck this up

Now that Leipzig have made the Champions League do they at least get cheered in Europe by neutral Germans or are they to always be booed under all circumstances?

They will probably get more support than they are getting now... but don't expect too much. They will never be liked in Germany, ever.

What I like the most about Leipzig is that it's from East Germany and sponsored by an energy drink. The historical reference is strong.
And what about Hoffenheim? It has the same story.

German football fans dislike Hoffenheim, too. Not to the same extent tho.
Hoffenheim atleast gets support from a child of their region. Leipzig is a club only built as a marketing tool, barely evades the legal regulations which are in place, and tries to fuck German football over as long as they profit from it.
PS: Germans don't have a problem with East German Clubs at all. A lot of the fans actually want to have one in the Bundesliga. Magdeburg, Dresden, Union? Fine. But not RB. I would take 10 years of Bayern championships over a single RB one every day.

It's the history of doping in East Germany which makes the link fun,

I think a lot of people have respect for the way this project is set up in Leipzig. Very structured, the newest technology, forward thinking in every way, interesting playstyle, etc.. we just wish a club with some history or culture would act this way and not that plastic fake marketing crap
