There wasnt alot he couldve done about that, sometimes you just get cut, Rakitic still had alot to do. Also that non call on the offside. Thank God Ronaldo is 301231 shots and 301231 misses Ronaldo today. Also wtf Ramos, had a Hyde moment, that was a real leg breaker, fortunately Messi had over a decade of skipping those. Couldve been real bad.

Again, Messi runs past him, and the tender german just stops running... Why would you chase the guy that just went past you... So much effort.

Such a shame this Real can win a 2nd CL in a row :p Wtf was that game. Tactically inept from both sides. If either of the teams played at their real level, it would have been a 5-0/0-5. I guess the Champions League is tiring, but I really question Zidane's coaching here. A draw and they'd be winning la Liga, why play so risky? Especially against this Barça, I mean it was 10v11 with Alcacer xD And then Barça still YOLO'ing at 2-1 and 11v10... Well, it was entertaining at least.

![]() Anyway, after those 2008-2012 years, it's hard to realy like current Barcelona's play. They have amazing players but most of their matchs are not enjoyables anymore. It reminds me the frustration of 2007-8.

They have amazing players but most of their matchs are not enjoyables anymore. It reminds me the frustration of 2007-8. Juve is an orgaized team, this game after around 60 minutes turned into a school yard Free for All, that is pretty much the ideal situation for Barca, Messi in particular. Real had plenty of good breaks as expected. But each time it seems the final ball was a sliver off or the shot wasnt good enough. Whats grating is that Barca's set defense against late movement is really bad. I dont mean set pieces here, its when teams pressure and throw people forward in live play, against good cutters and balls in from the flank, they have very poor organization and danger assessment at an individual level on the fly since Puyol left. The lack of instinctive defenders who ignore the coaches manual and snuff out danger when they see it is a big problem. But you take it for what it is. Nothing can be perfect.
