Handball is 70m away from goal and there are several new situations in between. Not sure that counts as direct leadup.

Antonio Conte admitted that Tottenham Hotspur were now “the best team” in the Premier League and said Chelsea had only a 50-50 chance of winning the title after their defeat at Manchester United restricted the league leaders to a four-point lead at the top of the table. Conte is a great manager but his mind games are amateur hour. Who's actually going to believe that?

Anyway, ManU were lucky yesterday, handball then a deflected shot. Also Rojo looks like an asshole, never missing an opportuniny to squeeze in a knock or an insult it seems.

Just proving the point that Conte should study mind games 101 from Mourinho. Even the fans do it better ![]() On topic: I am really loving the Dutch league this season. Feyenoord back at the top is so much fun (said as an Ajax fan). Anyway, week of truth for Ajax: by next week Sunday they could be in the semifinals of the EL and hot on the heels of Feyenoord for the title (or even on top of Feyenoord drops points), or out of the EL and in fear of dropping to 3rd place. With how Ajax has been playing the last few matches, I'm confident it'll be the former ![]()

I think this absolutely used to be true, but the at some point he started outing individual players and trashing them to the same press.

But let's face it. KNVB is a complete mess at the moment, and it was Blind's head on the chopping block, but the whole organization is screwed. Should really focus on restructuring the Dutch system, because if Belgium and Switzerland are consistently outperforming us, there's something structurally wrong. Imho just forget about this world cup. See it as a series of friendlies in which to train the youth. Then have a cohesive team for the Euros in 2020 and onward.
